The permits being awarded could change the position of those who did due diligence during the review. The process wouldn’t necessarily need to formally restart. We are a public company and people know where to find us.

Well, never foresaw this when I emailed Colin yesterday!! :) Was a day too early asking him questions... I just sent him a mail today letting him know my disappointment with it all.. and in fairness to him, he has just replied again, so I guess he's had a few things on today! Plan A is to get the permits and proceed with the development plan, so just hope that is what we can do!! :) GLA.

Obone, I don't normally copy personal emails here, as people can question their authenticity... however, this is what he put today in reply to me:

The lack of permits has hampered the strategic review.

The most realistic way to bolster the share price will be to deliver the permits.

Mr Leben is either a complete environmental zealot, or he's a very shrewd, clever politician... I haven't quite made my mind up just yet... but to get NGO's involved, fills me with dread actually, certainly for AST. Nothing will ever get done for industry/business with those people involved. Objections will be played out for years. Sad state of affairs really.

Will have to pull something spectacular out the bag to get the 1p Christmas party back on track though.. :) in fact, he'd need 10 bags to get there!!! Must be up to plan Z by now.. wonder what he has got in mind?? Hope it's something nice, for us long-suffering shareholders... GLA.

In fairness to Colin - got a reply back pretty much straight away... nothing miraculous, but it does sound like they're gearing up for legal challenges, if the diplomacy (!) fails to acquire permits. Frankly, good... IMO, let's take them to court and publicize the going's on at ARSO, air their dirty linen in public... see how they like that!! :)

Just fired one off to Colin... probably get nothing substantive in reply, but it makes me feel better to pass on my angst about the situation!! :) Anyway... in the spirit of "no news is good news" I'm holding out hope that the situation with Leben can be resolved peacefully... and permits issued - at some point! We shall see. GLA.

The lack of any update nor (it seems) progress on getting it resolved? We seem to be in constant limbo. According to Colin, we had enough money to year end... so, that's in four weeks? Presumably, they will have to raise, now they can do that of course... question is, will it be before permits or after? What price the raise when it happens... difficult times coming up, should we not get those elusive documents!! GLA.

Noticed this on the fallers list... why the massive fall? They have nearly £21m in cash, and the m/cap is only just above this now - so it's almost valued at cash?? Seems a tad oversold on those results., which weren't spectacular by any means, but definitely not sure about a 50%+ fall... GLA.

Lost £530 in nine minutes this morning... sad timing for that trade today!! :) Personally, I'm holding though... see what occurs before Christmas... with GR at the helm, could be anything... good or bad!! GLA.

Like we're in for a fight... to get the 90%!! Doesn't sound too promising from GR there... things in Africa take AGES to sort out it seems!! :(

My shares... are as they were!! They still say Golden Saint resources post consol... been on to live chat this morning -they are looking into it, as I should have GST shares now? Also, cannot get a quote on GST on HL live dealing... keeps saying no live quote is available. Jokers! :)

Back in profit on the day.. hope people topped up on the pull back?? Can see this well over the penny soon. GLA.

Think I saw someone pay 1.07p this morning... so you're far from the worst off!! :) It's a crazy system, on AIM, where good news often gets punished. It does not warrant the fall. I've added more here, as I believe this is going to rise substantially from here. GLA.
