Still stand by my comment from first thing this morning... before today's shenanigans... around this being a good time to load up. Ok, so the rise didn't stick (today) but a proper re-rate I feel is definitely on the cards. Imponderable Is CIRCUM IPO of course here, and that's the crux of it. Circum website has been down "under maintenance" for months now. It was reported in the press that they were in the final funding phase, back in October/November time. So, we've all heard it before, but I think it could really be imminent this year... at least we hope it is! That will have a bearing on us all and lift some flagging spirits, if/when it happens. GLA.

Was amazed at the conference... that you could still buy for 10p... such a bargain he said!! :) He didn't understand the SP in relation to what had been achieved thus far. I guess the placing didn't help though!! Still, onwards and upwards from here... what will the SP be by year-end, hazard a guess somewhat in excess of 10p!! GLA.

Ok, thanks, but by not commenting, they're effectively giving ARSO/Leben carte blanche to delay indefinitely? I hope he's not waiting until June, when they attempt to get something going in Croatia, before mothballing the Slovenian project? Would like to see us being more pro-active, and move forward before then!! Anyone going to the Q&A session... like to ask him, I guess it might be worth a shot?

With regard to the legal recourse section, in the RNS:

"Legal recourse
We remain hopeful that the permitting procedures will be concluded in a timely fashion and the necessary permits shall be successfully obtained.
However, should this not be the case, the Board of Ascent shall seek to protect shareholders' interests through legal action for damages, with the assistance of the appointed legal experts."

So, the one overriding question in my mind is simply... WHEN? When is the "timely fashion" exhausted? To my mind, it's well gone by now... so how long do we wait, to instigate some court process? Maybe it's a bluff, and Colin knows we don't have the time/inclination/resource/money etc. to sue? Personally, I cannot see any permits arriving at any time, under the present toxic relationship...

This in the permitting section:

"We have been continuing to respond to all requests for further information from the Environment Agency ("ARSO") in relation to both permits."

So, that implies that ARSO are asking further questions/clarifications... again?? I thought the last questions had been answered last year prior to submission, in September? Not really sure what's going on to be honest, is this just a further delaying tactic... indefinitely?

Market will be nervous today. Failed equipment.. no oil flows at all yet just water.. will be turbulent I guess initially. Let's hope the "quietly confident" is genuine. GLA.
