Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I would expect they announce their target fairly soon.
With the remaining business being valued as worthless, and the cash worth more than the share price, I cant see a short term downside.
Worst case scenario is Vodiac etc is rubbish and makes nothing, or they slowly waste the the money. in the bank and the acquisition doesn't excite the market.
Surely worth a short term punt.
I assume you used to work there or still do ?
I’m assuming Otus Capital Management we’re not happy with the way SIS is being run ant therefore ousted Tim Wright.
Suggests to me that all is not going well .
Seems the Vodiac app has been updated.
A few new videos, but if they relate to the Lets explore space product in development, I cant say I am particularly impressed.
Reminds me of 1980's video games.
It appears that preliminary due diligence lasts for a period of thirty days.
If that's the case there should be news within a couple of weeks, but I wont hold my breath.
The same thing had crossed my mind, although the fact that they have developed the new let’s explore experiences means that either they also sell that division as well , or continue trading as a company.
It appears that the AIM market doesn’t seem to value anything any more, so what would be the point of an acquisition?
Interesting to note the numerous resignations in the Huddled group a week or so ago.
What happens next is anyone’s guess
Sorry.
Wrong thread .

Seems like the market knew the accounts were not completed.
Doesn’t reflect well on management.
Well, I got most of that right.
Cash at good levels.
Not much meat on the bone regarding the trading update.
Developed means ? Whens the launch ?, What have sales been ? What is the order value for QVC ?
Acquisition a long way off . (preliminary due diligence takes place during the search and discovery phase when you determine if the business is a good fit based on your buying criteria.).
You would have to agree that a 20 per cent drop suggests the market doesn’t like the news at all.
Although they have to tell the market what they are doing sooner rather than later.
My mistake.
On many levels :)
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it accompanies news of how they are going to move forwards from here.
A nailed on short term trade for me , as the current cash will covers the current price.
Any acquisition will be presented in rose tinteds, and no doubt raise a short term flurry of interest, before it all fizzles out.
The market doesn’t seem to like it for some reason .
This is the important bit for me .
Momentum is building, as evidenced by revenues for each of April to June being records for the respective months. We expect revenue growth for H1 to be approximately 7%, with Q2 growth of approximately 12%. Due to our extensive change programme, the trading contribution3 will be approximately 19% compared with 11% for the same period in 2022. Given the superior trading contribution and tight overhead control, we expect to be EBITDA positive in 2023.
Should be a decent rise this morning.
It all depends on how many shareholders with your nominee broker decided to sell and what the quantities were.
Some got luckier than others.
And no, I didn’t get 100 per cent.
Give it a week and they will announce an acquisition with bells and whistles .
There will be a flurry of excitement and the price will go up for a week or two.
Interactive paid up.
Happy .
