I would guess a trading and information update in the new year and hope that the increased postage costs don’t chew too much into any potential profits.

They don’t read at all well.

Not ideal moving warehouse in the Christmas rush, and they have been having issues with the complaints e mail service for some time so it should have been sorted earlier.

On a bright note , it looks like they are addressing issues with a live chat.

Meanwhile Boop stock levels drop to a mere 125 items. I wonder why ?

I’m not sure that I can be as optimistic as you BBN.

Boop has had all year to prepare for a Christmas charge, and it’s an ideal time for spontaneous large item purchases , I.e cheapskate hubbies buying their wives /girlfriends a heavily discounted perfume.

Alas, there are currently just 23 to choose from , so they have missed the boat here . (perhaps the next lot is also stuck in customs, or they simply don’t have any suppliers, or maybe no cash flow left to purchase any).

The distinct lack of investor interest can be blamed on the very poor communication and constant change of direction the company keeps taking.

Easy to read it like they have nothing good to say .

I can’t be the only one pondering what’s going on at Boop.

Two more trading weeks until Christmas and they hardly have any perfumes to sell.

I can think of variety of reasons why they don’t , and most of them are a negative.

Unless DD has gone ballistic, the next update might follow the frustrations of previous ones .

They said there had been a dramatic increase in DD orders and it will be interesting to get an update as to the figures.

Boop items available going down by the day. Is it that they can’t get the stock ?, or is there the possibility that this part of the business is going to be sold off ?

Whenever someone used to talk about up and coming deals, i would consider it fanciful.

After all a deals not a deal until it’s done.

In essence, it was always used as a mechanism by sales staff to temporarily get their sales director off their back.

Not sure what is going on with this lot.

Share price through the floor, so yes Mr.H, crypto would have been a better bet , or at least more entertaining.

As an isolated example, (and it was much the same with Immotion before ), one of the many issues investors have with the management, is a failure to deliver on schedule if at all.

Here we are well into Q4 and clueless as to what’s happing.

The site visits never came to fruition.

Stock levels have not increased.

Delivery and ordering times have not changed.

Eventually it’s harder and harder to believe much of what they say.

So if we talk about investor confidence, or lack of, it’s fairly apparent why punters are jumping ship.

It’s got to be said, that the current lack of investor interest shows that for now , management have lost the room.

They did allude in their presentation, that they had some big deals to announce soon, however , surely if the deals were in , they would already have announced them, so I regard those comments as fanciful.

I don’t doubt that they work their socks off , but still question if they can make money.

There has been no obvious change in anything since the move to THG started, and with Black Friday looming , they currently stock breadth has remained fairly static , except Boop which has shrunk.

Overall a very frustrating share to be involved in and Higginson’s Crypto comment if you want instant returns in the presentation was a slap in the face for long term holders.

As for theTV series, don’t get me going.

You are being a bit thick Gary if you think the stream of atrocious views doesn’t affect business negatively.

First of all, there are the extra man hours and costs with dealing with all the complaints (If they can be bothered).

Then there is the potential to lose prospective customers (Many will have a look at Trustpilot prior to placing a first order)

And of course , you can add the existing customers who will stop purchasing if they feel their legitimate concerns are being ignored.

I have rarely posted on Trustpilot, but when I have it’s because I was spitting mad., usually due to a lack of communication. As a result , I refuse to ever deal with those companies again .

I could go on and on, but I think you have your hands over your eyes and fingers in your ears, so it’s no doubt a waste of time giving you my opinion.

Perhaps it hasn’t dawned on anyone, but is it possible that the THG sales platter which promises that the robots get it right 99.5 per cent of the time, is not correct ?

Huddled have jumped ship and gone all in , in a lot of ways they have lost control and are now totally dependent on THG for packing and delivery.

If THG don’t perform , then Huddled is going to really struggle going forwards.

It’s a huge gamble and perhaps they should have been more patient and tried one part of the group first .

And surely there is an issue when you pack cleaning products with food as the smells permeate everything.

How you can discount 16 of the last 20 DD reviews which have 1 star and a lot of angry punters ,is mind boggling.

The mystery box seems to have lived up to its name as it appears to mysteriously agitate purchasers.

Ignore at your peril.

Remember , this move was supposed to result in a sharp decline in complaints, not the opposite.

Right now , they appear to be fumbling around in the dark however you like to dress it up .

Has the move to the fulfilment centre caused more problems than it has solved ?

The recent Trustpilot negative reviews have increased quite dramatically , and they read like a horror show.

Perhaps it’s teething problems , they better hope so .

Ultimately it was a huge gamble , and if it doesn’t work out then Huddled are screwed .

Looking at the abysmal share price today, I remember Higginson in one of his weekly updates , stating that we can’t expect the share price to keep going up, it was a matter of progression.

Ever since he made that statement , the progression has been down.

It’s quite obvious that punters are lacking in any confidence in this company and if they can’t manage bumper festive sales, it’s only going to get worse .

Perhaps the business model simply doesn’t work, it must be appearing that way to whoever is offloading at the moment.

Unfortunately with all the other doom and gloom at the moment , it just adds to the many other reasons to be grumpy .

I don’t doubt that’s the case , but I don’t know how an online retailer overcomes those spurious claims.

It’s quite obvious that some of the Trustpilot reporters are chancers.

However it’s also reasonably obvious when people have what looks like a valid complaint and those need addressing promptly.

Posted in the last day and should be quite simple to rectify very quickly as DD are clearly in the wrong.

This is what I don’t get about modern businesses.

By the time someone is angry enough to have a rant on Trustpilot, the chances are , that with every hour that passes without resolution, the irritation level rises and the chance of them never coming back grows exponentially..

It’s not rocket science for Huddled to have a dedicated customer services manager who can nip the straightforward cases in the bud in order to retain the customer long term.

order 82311048253 paid £9.95 for 5 x 4 multi packs of Heinz Baked beans 200 gms. Unfortunately only 10 single tins were delivered. I contacted Customer Services at Discount Dragon only to be told despite obvious evidence to the contrary that the 10 single tins delivered is correct. Have contacted them again on 5 further occasions but heard nothing .

I notice that absolutely nothing has changed re order and delivery times.

I was sort of looking forward to the series, and then very quickly realised that I inhabit a completely different world and found it very difficult to watch.

Are all these DD staff going to still be working in the near future ? Faces blurred out in the warehouse !

Anyway, for me , it’s so dumbed down, I find it unwatchable.

We’re really sorry for the delay with your recent order — we completely understand how frustrating it must have been, especially after selecting 48-hour delivery. The delay was due to our recent relocation to an upgraded facility, which temporarily affected dispatch times.

Looking at the recent DD Trustpilot reviews which are mostly terrible , you have to ask why they don’t respond in a timely manner..

The longer complaints get ignored, the more agitated customers get and the less likely they are to ever return.
