Your comment made me chuckle as I watched the update and then also felt it compound my cautious outlook .

As Martin pointed out, sales growth is fantastic, but with that has come the issue of quality control and refunds.

Obviously at this point, we are unaware as to the extent of the cost of these refunds to the business and its profitability.

The stream of negative Trustpilot reviews on Boop shows some of the issues that they need to overcome.

We are both invested here and want them to succeed, and I do appreciate your analysis , however, my point is that possibly you are looking at the business in a simplistic way, when actually as Martin confirms, there are still many daily obstacles and costs overcome .

Until we get some solid figures, it’s just a guess as to if they are capable making the model work or not.

Genuinely wishing you every success with your investment and hope the next update shows they are making lots of money.

At 2k orders per day , you would hope so.

Each of these issues individually can have a big impact on profitability and going forward, Huddled have to somehow find a way of minimising these unwanted costs.

I think the hirings , the huge growth in Boop and Nutricircle as well as the marketing are fantastic and merely pointed out, that I don’t think the last quarter is going to show anything other than a loss and investors are going to have to wait to see profits.

Going forward one would hope that they start making money, and yes, the new warehouse is going to help.

Re todays update.

It seems clear that they are taking a step backwards then forwards and that we will see more cash burn with a jam tomorrow type of quarterly update.

All seems to be a huge juggling act at the moment.

One thing you could never accuse them of is lack of effort which appears to be commendable.

More patience needed is my guess.

Could certainly do with a decent update to lift the gloom.

Bit of a bloodbath for a majority of shares and this one is holding up.

For once there don’t seem to be many willing sellers of Huddled and there is definitely a decent buy order sitting in the wings as it’s very easy to shift half a mill at 3.88.

It would be nice to get a fantastic March/q1 update and positive broker note in the near future to lift the gloom.

I wasn’t aware that a quarterly update was pencilled in.

When would you expect it ?

It seems that the market is currently overlooking the exceptionally fast growth in customer numbers and sales.

Boop , with its higher aov and lower picking costs is growing at such a rapid pace, that it won’t be too long before they can turn a decent profit. It’s easier to make a fiver profit on one bottle of perfume than a pound off a basket of groceries.

Nutricircle is fairly straightforward regarding its product mix and is also growing at a fast pace.

Perhaps Discount Dragon is becoming the part of the business that is hardest to turn a profit on as there are so many items to pick.

The move towards larger pack sizes will help to reduce picking costs substantially, and maybe they will settle for less turnover with better margins.

Sure, they are going through some growth pains, but as Higginson says, they know the ,market is there when they want to turn the taps on.

Imo , it won’t be long before this becomes the punters darling and we will see a substantial increase in the share price,

The new Huddled group website looks extremely polished.

I’m sure I found at least one page without the word sustainable on it :)

It will be interesting to see to see what traction they got with their all day event on TikTok today .

I suppose there is an upside and a downside to the weekly updates.

On the upside, it’s great to know what the company is up to and how they plan to deal with growth and the numerous issue’s involved.

On the downside as has likely happened this time, the lack of any numbers for the first time can be possibly construed as them not having a good week and any numbers that they wish to announce.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Mike Ashley gets some skin in the game fairly soon.

It appears that Boop is going to double its orders from from 12.5 k orders last quarter, to probably double that amount this quarter..

Worth the wait.

On current figures of 1800 orders per day, they are heading for around 162000 orders for the quarter .

If you compare that with (In Q4 2024 our warehouse in Leigh fulfilled over 110,000 orders), then growth is very significant .

The rich list comment made me chuckle, and I would be more than happy if Boop etc got us all there.

The addition of a retail bigwig in Mike Ashley is a huge bonus.

Jut for a moment, I thought that they were doing themselves a favour.

The lack of consistency is irritating as an investor.

Probably not today, but I have always considered that one day the likes of Poundland would make a bid .

After all, with a rapidly growing customer base and revenue, it’s likely to be a good fit for an established company doing business in this sector.

Bizarre.

I would accept that .

For me, the underlying rapid forward momentum in sales leaves nothing to be concerned about.

The fixed costs will remain fairly static and the extra turnover will eventually take Huddled past the pivot point.

At the current trajectory, It's just a case of when, not if .
