RE: Peeko2 Apr 2026 18:12
I have been trying to get my head around this in between shots on the golf course today.
Would I , as a consumer of either beauty products or health products, either use myself, or recommend to a friend that they should buy these products from a company called Peeko ?
Boop beauty was self explanatory, as was Nutricircle , as is Discount Dragon.
In my opinion the marketing department must have been smoking something, as it makes absolutely no sense at all.
WTF does the name Peeko suggest to a potential customer ? To me it’s completely ludicrous.
It’s pretty obvious investors have not bought into this idea, by the total lack of interest atm.
I’m all for changing direction if things are not working out, but this weirdness suggests they are in panic mode and are clutching at straws and I would love to be proved wrong.
Perhaps I should buy a dummy order of cosmetics and give it to my wife.
She will probably ask , “Where did you buy that for me darling ?’
“Peeko , it’s a great new site”
“Eeerm, thanks “
I’m pretty sure I would find it in the bin the next morning as she would consider it was cheap fake sh%t.
The moving into profitability in the coming months can be translated as “we spent all our money on rebranding, no one liked the name and we will hopefully become profitable next year.
I’m the meantime , we need to get rid of all our packaging and start afresh and if you give us an extra million it will cover the costs.
It seems obvious that they are struggling to get the stock that Higginson stated is readily available.
So sorry BBN, thanks for your answer, but I am not convinced by your post.
On a brighter note, Peeko comes across as a Chinese name, so perhaps it’s all up for sale .
