I agree, the fact that the company is done for supplying rail, and not tanks, makes me feel like we can still survive. I tink after this, there will be stock havens, like with tax havens, where they can avoid sanctions etc, by being on politically neutral land.

Interesting point, not sure how it works with debts etc. I think they probably get frozen, along with the accounts. I'd have thought repaying the debt would be classed as dealing with Evraz. So I'd have thought any UK business, or person cannot receive payment, in any form from evraz.

anyone know how much the NA business is worth? If that could list on the NYSE, with a split, at least we could walk away with something.

I don't get what the sanctions actually do, to stop them supplying steel. Surely all the russian sites will continue to operate regardless, because no doubt they have russian accounts for paying staff etc.

If it hits 78p I might go for a top up, surely that'd be the bottom?

In all fairness, this isn't a scientific affair, where we have to post sources for all conclusions etc. It's the stock market, where we're all essentially taking part in various forms of guess work. On top of that, it's an internet chat board, and is somewhat casual. If it was a report, that people were paying for, then a link might be good, but it's a chat board, free for all, and therefore does not require such formalities.

Just go on the poly board, and say there's a 0.00001% chance might be suspended or nationalised. Seems there are many on that board that hate to hear anything negative. I'm in, but I understand anything can happen, because it's war, I just think that there's a good chance of a huge return.

I know this is extremely childish, but I decided to look through Pete's posts, and it has become very clear why I have been filtered. Also, this isn't the first time he has posted a list of blocked board members. lots of very angry ranting, complains about the share price being "wrong", and that it "should" be a lot higher. Seems like he has a problem with anything, real, imaginary, fact or opinion, that goes against what he thinks.

I'd agree with the whole argument about retail investors and risk. Almost everyone I spoke to about shares I was buying in the pandemic, responded negatively. Be that Oil, retail, Rolls Royce etc. For me during the pandemic, I was buying not based on if they will do well, but if they will survive. As long as I thought they would survive, I would buy it. got a few 1, and half baggers already, some I'm still waiting for the pay off.

I understand, it has been quite chaotic, I'm new to the forum, so not sure of the general etiquette. I don't mind upsetting a few people, but would rather be a net benefit to the forum if at all possible.

AFAIK it has no effect, POLY is a British company primary registered on the LSE, this is for Russian companies with secondary listings on the LSE/NYSE etc.

I have discussed the war, which I do believe is relevant, because of sanctions etc, I don't want to cause trouble on the forum, I'm just here as a retail investor, looking for a dash of hope/insight.

Don't really understand why I've been filtered by Pete, but I notice there's some good poster's in that list. I notice fair analyst is on there, and he's one of my favourite posters. I've hardly filtered anyone, only the ones that constantly spam with wild conspiracies, and even then it has to get really bad. I wouldn't even filter someone for being rude to me. I don't really care if someone insult's me on the board, because I'm here to learn, and consider various opinions. If someone call be a stupid idiot, they might be right, and I might have to reconsider my viewpoints. I think being honest with yourself is one of the biggest requirements for anyone buying shares.

I'm still sitting on a load of BOO share's, still think they can make a good turn of it. It's a long term share, they'll grow, and becoming a household name.

He looks stressed out his nut every time I see him (VP), the sanctions are enough to make every one in Russia hate him, but if he can't win militarily either, he will go down in history as the biggest ****in Russian history.
