Seems the 52 week low of 63.49 is giving some support. The recent fall seemed overdone.Hopefully will start to move back up, if POO holds up.GLA
Still ,but maybe that's better than bad news.Definite improved sentiment towards diamonds lately. GEMD has really shot up.Unfortunately it may be too late for us.Here's hoping for a miracle!! GLA

GEMD has been looking stronger lately I wonder if some investors starting to 'assume' Mothae is their's if they want it. Not sure when the official decision will be made but but without any good news we can probably assume it will be bad for us .Basically we need a miracle now to get anything from this.GLA
Yes looking stronger these last few sessions.Maybe sentiment towards diamonds is finally improving. Also the special dividend to come and latest broker rating over £2.It is public knowledge GEMD have shown an interest in the nearby Mothae mine. This would add further value/growth if they get it.However it will not be so good for us poor souls who also hold PRG shares!!! GLA
DCP had a good update today with their first production/sales.If only we had of bought them instead of this .........That should of been us,instead we do not know if we even have a mine let alone 2 of them. This not looking good at all I hate to say it but think we need to prepare for the worst. The irony is the diamond market is showing signs of improvement. GEMD had a good day despite a bad day generally. We live and learn..........GLA
Hi K168, not aware of any news.Barry from The Assc.said he will try ringing PM about mid April if nothing heard. The longer it goes on the less likely the news is good I would have thought.Even the ADVFN board seems to have gone quite, which was always more busy than this one.It is so frustrating/depressing but all we can do is wait......GLA
As mentioned previous with the likes of GEMD interested our chances may not be good.It all comes down to if we have finance or not, which has been the problem all along. We may find out our fate sooner rather than later as you say by the end of April maybe crucial.Things do not look good here but all we can do is wait and hope something can be salvaged.. Re-listing only seems like a dream at the moment.......GLA
Indeed.I also hold a fairly large investment in GEMD but unfortunately also one in PRG .Buying more GEMD could be a way of trying to recoup some losses here.[GEMD are also paying a good dividend] How ever unlikely PRG will come good, it is not over until the fat lady sings.........GLA
Hi Johnny,I think Matt meant why bother holding the meeting, but anyway I agree things do not look good. But it is maybe a case of 'false hope is better than no hope'.We all really know the likely outcome here but it is only natural to cling onto any tiny glimmer of hope.Until we know for sure it is over PM is all we have got, even though he has failed us all badly.Don't be too hard on yourself, we all fell for all the talk/plans just like you.It all seemed very doable/ and likely a great investment at the time.PM will lose big too so if he could do anything he would..GLA
Yes guys not looking good at all.The recent meeting although well intended may of just given us false hope[not that I went] .It is probably best to prepare for the worst and pray for a miracle!! .This does prove however that Mothae was a valuable/sought after asset, which begs the question why did no one seemingly want to finance it before? With regards to Lemphane we still do not even know what the real status with that is.When you see the recent results from GEMD you can see there was massive potential here if had of all gone to plan. You can see how we all got sucked into it .GLA I fear we are going to need it.....
Thanks for that dazah, yes indeed great write ups.And this is at a time when the diamond industry is in the doldrums. Imagine if/when it picks up and Ghaghoo is also profitable and ramped up.With a good dividend being paid this has to be a great buy at the moment in my opinion.Unfortunately my holding is at a higher average but hopefully will break even soon.GLA
Hi Johnny just seen this. Thanks for the link, certainly a good read for any worried PRG holders. As you say we need more than just talk but lets just hope something can be salvaged.I don't doubt PM is doing all he can to try to sort this but the longer it goes on the more worrying it is.GEMD have results tomorrow, maybe that will give some insight to the current market price/sentiment for diamonds at the moment.GLA
We will soon find out tomorrow.Given the recent Q4 update there should not really be anything bad to fear.Although it dropped today there were also a lot of quite big buys.Shares often seem to drop before results even when results turn out to be really good.Hopefully just the uncertainty rather than anyone knowing anything.Remember this touched 1.31 briefly just after xmas [seemingly on some signs of improvement in diamond prices/sentiment] This share can move fast up or down.Lets hope its up tomorrow! GLA
Yes the Ghaghoo mine is not so good in this lower diamond price environment, as lower grade diamonds generally. However their main mine is still highly profitable and always prone to pulling out a whopper!.They are very strong financially with money in the bank/no debt so no problems there. Results out tomorrow may give a clearer picture. Also pay dividends, and all broker ratings much higher than current price.May have to wait a while but fairly confident this will do well in the near/med future.DYOR.GLA
I agree with the last few posts.Although frustrating Barry had no choice and we should thank him for all the effort he has put in.I hope the Shareholder Group will continue as it can still be helpful. My take on all this is there is no solid good news[i.e funding in bank etc.] but still an ongoing situation with some glimmer of hope.I think because PM is quite a high profile figure and after all the publicity he gave prior to it going pear shaped ,he does not want to say anything until it is completely nailed [or completely over] I will try to contact the co as suggested but even then do not expect too much info.GLA
Humzer we are awaiting an update by email from The Paragon Diamonds Shareholders Association. It all seems very secretive but but I am sure clever sheep will tell us all he can/knows.If you are not a member, I suggest you send your name/shareholding to paragon@73east.com to join.We all have a lot at stake here and it is a worry.Hopefully things will be a bit clearer soon.PM seems intent on keeping whatever is going on as secret as possible, why? maybe after previous empty promises he wants to be sure before goes public.GLA
Ritchie you are right investment grade diamonds along with gold are usually in demand in times of financial crisis.Yes if we really had secured funds of $30m then we may be in a strong position.Unfortunately if we had I doubt we would be having the meeting. They could have just notified us funding was in place and when mining would start etc.I hope I am wrong but I suspect the meeting may not be exactly what we we are hoping for.We certainly could all do with some good news even if it is not perfect.GLA
