Agreed,all looks good but unfortunately the SP never seems to reflect it. For some reason this company never seems to excite investors,even though is well run with good production/assets no debt.Other oil companies seem to have benefited more from the improved oil price /sentiment than this one.Hopefully our time will come soon.GLA

Sityboy,good to see another poster for a change.You maybe have a point but I would imagine doing business in Africa with such valuable goods would not come cheap.[security etc.] I think the problem has been more the recent lack of big diamonds and generally a depressed diamond market, particularly for smaller diamonds.I agree it is undervalued whatever, and hope this year things will change their fortunes.Should be a trading statement soon and results around March.Starting to move up now infact!! Recovering a bit as I thought/hoped would.Don,t believe any particularly bad news it is just how this share moves sometimes.Relatively small volume can move if fast one way or the other [often wide spread] Think yesterday just triggered a lot stop losses when it hit a low point.Were also lot of big buys yesterday so hopefully nothing to fear other than the usual depressed share price.Let's hope it rallies Xmas time like last year!! The usual drop back AGAIN!! This week all eyes on OPEC.A good agreement must help us as will improve general sentiment as well as price, and we do have current oil production [not just future projects] If they fail to agree no doubt we will be took down further with the rest. GLA

Pompey I agree with some of what you say,but if you look back over previous years this share has nearly always gone up around or just after Xmas. I assume as demand for diamonds generally increases for Xmas/Chinese New Year.For anyone sitting on losses [like me] it may be wise to wait a bit longer to see if it does it again, if thinking of selling out. They do also pay a dividend at least.I will be waiting a bit longer and may even top up if goes any lower.Surely this may go up at some point!! GLA

I agree this should be at least this.Remember will also have substantial production already [at low cost approx $15 a barrel] with the ex Salamander assets.We need OPEC to get their act together and cut production then even this should go up with the improved sentiment/outlook.If they don't POO is likely to fall again and this will likely stagnate despite it's assets/cash/deal etc. Let's hope this week brings some more upside.GLA

Although this has not been the best investment for quite sometime,I also believe it is unfair to call it a terrible co.They have gone through a bad patch with poor diamond prices/sentiment[particularly smaller lower grade diamonds ] and also in finding a lack of 'specials'.This can change.Also this time of year is traditionally good for diamond prices with Xmas /Chinese new year coming up.I think I will give it a bit longer as i am on a fair loss if i sell now. PDL has gone up a lot lately but largely because it fell so much in the first place.With diamonds one big find can turn it around.GLA
