I agree with you guys,seems this likely to drag on around these levels for sometime.It seems ironic though that sound energy is more than us [currently approx 80p] when they are still at a very early stage and need to finance etc.We are far more advanced with cash reserves/oil production etc.It shows shares are often driven up by sentiment/hype/future prospects rather than fundamentals. Ophir seems to be considered somehow boring.I think we need the BOD to get out there and promote/sell more rather than just sit on a dwindling cash pile.They may surprise us one day!! GLA

I agree, but at least it is a show of confidence.Maybe if they can get it all up and running now costs are down, they can sell it in the future when gas prices are up.That maybe their strategy,the only problem is it all takes so long.A partner would seem a better bet short/'mid term .It seems nothing definite decided either way, which means this uncertainty likely to drag on.Even just £1 seems a long way off at the moment.GLA

PDL also has a lot more volume than this[ buys/sells] making the price move more one way or the other.I think the problem here has been the last update showed less big stones were recovered,but that was due to working in a less lucrative area so should pick up soon.Also the lead up to xmas/Chinese new year can be a good time for diamond prices. We certainly need something to get this going up again! Yes we are in better shape than PDL but as we know share prices are often far from logical.It is all about sentiment/hype etc.GLA

Funki,I hope you are right.This share has been in the doldrums for so long with just the odd jump here and there, but it always falls back.As you say no debt here like Petra un yet they have been doing well lately.We need something to kick this off,like a few really big finds.GLA

You guy's are right.Nothing seems to move this.The RNS was all good news and results expected Thursday unyet nothing stirring.In contrast you have Sound Energy which is also gas shooting up at a ridiculous rate well past this unyet they are still in early stages.We are producing, have proven assets and have a large amount of cash/no debt.It proves it is all about interest/communication and dare I say it hype/ramping.We have all seen shares shoot up on hardly anything and other strong company shares languish for years.To think I sold Sound Energy years ago for a small profit at 7p!!! It is not just about picking the right shares it is also timing it right which makes it VERY difficult/risky!! Let's hope we get some good news on thu.GLA

Yes a very good update.Nothing too dramatic to shift the SP though.Also noticed this share very rarely reacts much to updates,seems more general sentiment in diamond trade.May get a few more broker updates hopefully to the upside which may help a bit.Unfortunately for some reason this board has never seemed to attract too many posters compared to other shares.But a good solid report/company.Hopefully we will be rewarded one day!!..GLA

Seems no news coming from anywhere on that ,so hard to draw any conclusions .GEMD has a trading update tomorrow but doubt would include any news on that.Hopefully will be a good update though, and give us a little boost. GLA

Should not effect us too much.Diamonds are priced in dollars and investment grade diamonds can be seen as a safe haven in uncertain times..Plus this company has no debts and large amount of cash to ride out any temp storm.Wish i had bought more when it dropped to 1.11 at the start.GLA

As per below,looked into this and seems we may of disposed of our interest in this in May 2015 [typical] so probably just a false lead/hope............back to praying for a miracle!!! GLA

Quindell,you make a good point.This was more than a quick punt aim share for most .PM somehow made it seem a relatively safe, un yet highly lucrative investment.[On reflection it was very high risk, but never seemed that way with such confidence finance was in the bag.] I kick myself regular, as I even had a good profit in this at various times but saw this as 'the one' that could really be special.I like many here will lose big time , but it is always easy to be wise after the event.We can only pray for a miracle now!!
