I am sure we would soon hear if there was any definite news.But it seems unlikely it would be that quick.I think it is best not to get excited about anything we hear given all the times we have been let down.Maybe knowing he[PM] has made so many predictions/statements that never worked out he will be reluctant so say anything until an actual fact.[finance in the bank etc.] But we all need hope. GLA .

Although I have no doubt things go on behinde the scenes that PI's are not informed of, I cannot see what PM could get out of this situation.As far as we can see he has his own money and certainly his reputation at stake. If he was trying to take the company private surely there were easier ways to do it, and it would still need shareholder approval.I maybe ignorant but I would still like to think he was just over confident' and tried to be clever suspending the shares to cover his misjudgement.That backfired when the Nomad resigned.Happy New Year All. .

I have had an email from my broker Beaufort along the lines of below.Seems we do not have do anything other than wait and Pray!!. Even in very worse case of Admin they have to hold the record until final liquidation /outcome. I still have Afren shares shown awaiting their final outcome.[we all know what that is unfortunately].Lets hope this is not like that and can rise from the ashes.Seems to be some improvement on other diamond shares GEMD/PDL hopefully is an improvement in sector sentiment which may help us. GLA .

Yes,you are both right the website has always been rather poor and not updated.Now it is all we have, it is a worry.If nothing is heard for a while we should all email/try ringing.We are still shareholders and entitled to be told the truth what is happening and when it happens.This whole situation is a big worry.Lets just hope it can come through.GLA

Although we we knew it was coming, still a bit scary when you see it gone! I have set up a topic under Paragon Diamonds Shareholders on General chat ,as a potential forum once this is de-listed.You just go to General Chat .General topic.This maybe easier than having to sign up to different sites etc. Just a thought .Philphil I like your optimism and hope you are right.After losing a fortune this year on Afren I am very cynical with regards to shares now. Hi Guys,Such a shame but I suppose it was what we we were expecting.It is ironic that in the big scheme of things the finance needed was not that big.You can only assume PM was too stubborn to compromise some.He said he was protecting the shareholders etc. but I think most would have had preferred listed shares worth 2p than all this uncertainty.At least shares can go up but now we don't know where we stand.I assume our brokers will advise what will happen now with regarding holding the shares.Not a good Xmas present PM.GLA

If the Nomad had not resigned we would of been ok. BZM remained suspended for approx 5 months prior to getting funding.I believe PM was trying to be clever to preserve the share price, but never counted on the Nomad resigning. That is where it all fell down, and the fact funding was obviously much harder to get than he thought. I assume as most of us hold shares electronically on trading platforms we will have to be issued with share certificates via our brokers. I am not really sure how it will work.Any ideas?It is certainly not what we were expecting or hoping for.Such a shame.GLA

Cleversheep,I believe we could set up a topic on the general chat board on this same platform LSE. Other shares who have de-listed /bit the dust [from bitter experience Afren] seem to use it. GLA

I am sure re-listing would be very expensive and will be money that should have gone to far better use.It is hugely disappointing for all of us that it should be like this after such high hopes and seemingly lots of offers of finance.Whatever happens now [short of a miracle RNS today/tomorrow] PM has let us down badly and himself.It maybe a bad time to be getting finance and he maybe trying to preserve value but he has had a lot of time to do it and this is a strange way of preserving value.Lets hope all is not lost.GLA

Hi JohnnyG, Yes GEMD did great today also PDL.I can find no particular reason for it.Maybe it is just sentiment and an improving outlook for diamonds.Indeed what may have been here if all went as was planned.Even now it may help to get finance if the diamond industry is looking a bit rosier.It is such a shame we have to go through all this grief and uncertainty.Lets hope we can still all salvage something.GLA

Maybe sentiment towards the diamond sector is improving GEMD PDL doing well today.If only he could have sorted all this out as he said he could, we may have been flying.Seems no hope now of avoiding de-listing.Such a shame.GLA

I think we need a Christmas miracle now.Not looking good.It is ironic that PM previously stated he would be disappointed if the share price was not in double figures by the end of the year!.It maybe his determination to save the share price that results in us being de-listed! This like so many shares lately has been a huge disappointment after such high hopes.Go on PM prove us all wrong.......GLA

Maybe we should all try ringing/send emails saying how concerned we are about the fast approaching deadline for de-listing.If PM is really so concerned about diluting us he should realise we are entitled to as much info as possible to give, to ease our fears.They still have St.Bride and Partners for their PR/advice etc. who seem a reputable co.Worth a go.GLA

Hi Guys,posted this before re.Rangers FC who were de-listed.It states what the Nomad has to look for before taking up the job.There is nothing to suggest finance has to be in place.Although the wording is a bit vague unless some real wrong doing has taken place, seems can accept. Given the fact that PM is having so much trouble getting finance, because he is trying to protect shareholders from large dilution, It would be ironic and a cruel twist if he then shafted us by allowing the Co to be de-listed.because of no Nomad..You would assume that is not his intention,but he is certainly cutting it fine.I wonder if there is such a thing as an extension in certain circumstances[something PM knows about but we don't] as he certainly seems relaxed about it in the last RNS. Given his passion for the Co.surely he won't just throw it all away.GLA
