Nearly $54 now.Surely that much help with any negotiations.We are certainly clinging on for dear life now but everyone will lose if this is allowed to just go down the pan.There must some way to save us, but if it results in more dilution there won't be much left for us LTH'S. But a small part of something is better than nothing at all i suppose!! Here's hoping for a miracle ...........GLA

B1gJake ..I know what you mean.It seems they have buried there head in the sand and just hoped the WF would perform miracles.Now they are running out of time and excuses it may focus them more.I think also they relied to much on the Swedes to just keep bank rolling them all the time,rather than looking at other ways of finance.If there is a debt for equity swap or consolidation the Swedes will be hit very bad,so it is in their interests to try to get a good solution.It is ironic that Ricks profile says he as also served as an investment Banker at JP Morgan.Maybe he can get some mates rates there! These are desperate times but it's not over 'til its over! GLA

Hi Scarlet,although we all know we are in big trouble, I think HAWK do not help themselves with these brief and to the point RNS'S. if there is any reason why we did not reach the amount or indeed if we were close to it etc.is never said.We knew the loan had to be renegotiated/paid by alternative finance in Dec already so surely they should have been consulting with investment banks etc.anyway.After surviving the prolonged oil price drop so far it would be such a shame [not to mention tragic for us] to just let it go down the pan.Surely they must have been ready for this,they have known the WF has not been performing well for a long time. GLA we sure need it

So our worst fears have become reality.The fact is they should have been looking at alternative ways to finance the loan for ages.They must have suspected this would happen for a long time but have just seemingly been 'hoping' it would all come good.Meanwhile they have been stringing us along with talk of further waterfloods/drills etc.It may not be over quite yet but it is hard to see how we will get any good outcome now.They need to get a grip and fast because we are very much on borrowed time now.GLA

They must now know if they reached the 425 WF bopd for Sept.You would think if they reached it, they would be very quick to tell us.But if they haven't they will also have to issue a breach of loan requirements RNS. The clock is ticking.Going by the current share price expectation is obviously very low!...GLA

Indeed.I think they need to get more pro-active with the debt rather than just keep kicking it up the road.Maybe they should consider selling off non core assets/getting in a partner etc.If the share price was higher it would obviously be easier to raise money, but at these low levels any further dilution will be a virtual wipe out for us LTH .We sure need some good news for once, to at least start the recovery. Indeed.So it seems the recent rise really was based on nothing! There may have been a few lucky traders got in and out quick with a small profit,but for us LTH it is back to square one. Goldstinger I hope you are right about holding back on the good news,because if not, it does not look too good.Poo is rising but we desperately need to up production as wel,l to really benefit.Still too much uncertainty at the moment.We need to see real results not just speculation.At least we had a few days hope, even if was false!! Indeed.Given also we may have a buyer for the Ghaghoo mine.If a good price was achieved for that it should strengthen the company /cut costs and allow them to concentrate on the profitable part of the business.GLA

I agree is looking quite grim now.We need some good news for once, and need it fast.What I cannot understand is what did they do in January to get that BOPD as it has not been achieved before or after, in recent times.The 425 for Sept does seem unlikely but January proves there can be large differences month to month even before the waterflood was more advanced.It is probably wise to prepare for the worst and hope for the best! I am not selling at this level as lost most already.GLA

Indeed.Given the whole market cap is so low [given the assets] any good offer you would think would greatly increase the SP. At the moment it is only a burden really.But as usual with GEMD the SP barely moves even on potentially significant news.I expect it must be quite a big company who ever is interested, as fully operational diamond mines do not come cheap even, if prices are low at the moment. GLA

Disappointing share price reaction to what seemed a fairly good update..I think they still need to get the cash burn down more, as well as keep finding the big diamonds. Ghaghoo is obviously not helping the share price.If they could sell it they would be better off,but until it could be profitable again it would be hard to get a good price.I think we need to get back in a net cash position as that was what always separated us from most miners who tend to carry a lot of debt [Like PDL etc.] Back to the usual waiting game.It is hard to imagine this was about 98p briefly just a few weeks ago. Like a fool I topped up when it dropped [still average over £1.20] just to see it drop more.You are right this can move up fast but seems to move down even faster.It is now almost at year lows yet we have just found all those massive stones worth millions!. Hopefully we can only go up from here! GLA

Probably talking to myself on here,but nice to see another good find.Looking more than a one off now.That is about five in 3-4 months.Plus the others maybe bigger/better quality but not qualifying for special status.We just need to keep the costs down and this could be a bumper year.When will the SP reflect it though! GLA

Indeed.If this level of finds keeps up they should have a very profitable year, particularly as costs should be less with only one mine/efficiency savings.Let's hope the SP starts to reflect it.GLA

Indeed.If ever the class action over on ADVFN ever gets underway it maybe worth joining.A lot of of people have lost a lot of money here [including me] .PM has so much to answer for.We have all been shafted big time.Those who put more money in [Loan notes] maybe strung along a bit longer but I am sure nothing will come of that either.Disgraceful.Let's hope we can recoup some on other investments.GLA

on 23/5/17.This will be a crucial insight into how things are progressing.We know they have found the two big diamonds as mentioned,but may see if generally hitting a better spot.Also if costs are coming down etc.Let's hope this will be a good update as otherwise i dread to think where the SP will end up.GLA

Thanks for your reply Gemdealer. I will bear in mind what you have said before averaging down more.However I am not ready to put this in my ever growing file of 'lost causes' just yet!! I still feel this is far too cheap now given the potential revenues, and the assets themselves.We shall see.GLA
