I live out in the sticks so the internet is very slow. With the recent increase in adverts on here it’s making the site almost unusable. The clever people may well make a few extra quid in the short term but when everyone has upped sticks and left it may be a bit different.

Supply issues due to many factories being mothballed by covid will have played a part with inflation.

I'll try not to but can't speak on behalf of the other investor who went mad with a purchase of 3 shares!

It’s a real puzzle how concreting over so much land hasn't improved the situation. I guess also a population increase of 10m so far this century hasn't added to the problem at all.

So income down less than 1% & SP drops 21%.

I know the market is still jittery but those figures still don't add up.

Ditto. “Safe” stocks are part of a well balanced pf IMHO.

I’m fairly sure they have other brands within the group that are on comparison sites.
