Nom
In the words of Galloway, two checks.
The exact same criticisms about both the state of the prisons & the mess inherited were heard in 2010.
Personally I don't want to see shorter sentences but I doubt I'm the only person struggling with 'fraudsters, drug dealers, burglars, arsonists, thieves and people who committed serious driving offences' being released early specifically to accommodate, amongst others, those who have posted offensive nonsense on social media. According to the bbc a chap has just been imprisoned for "shouting at a police dog."
This new fashion of blaming everything on Farage is coming across as a classic deflection tactic. Other than minor power sharing a few times with the puddle party, both Labour & the Tories have been at the helm continuously for over 100 years and, perhaps with the exception of the 60s, it's been pretty much a downward slope.
