Exciting and nerve wracking days ahead. However the good news is that if the jury returns a guilty verdict against Samsung and one of willful infringement than there will be an afterburner as the judge will later decide (a few weeks time) on the multiplier.
If Samsung would be rational they would try to settle after the verdict but before the multiplier factor is decided.
Personally I am hoping that the share price will be between 60-70p after the jury verdict.

Retraction: almost one third of current market capitalisation!

Very substantial win! I mean this is almost the volume of the current market capitalisation of James Fisher!

Oh no prejudices- absolutely shameful how H and M stabbed William and Charles in the back and slighted his grandmother.

The one thing that I dread is if Samsung’s lawyers have hired Meagain Markle as their star witness. These brown soulful eyes will shed tears and with every emotion this C movie actress is capable of Samsung manifold grievances will be aired. Anything can happen these days.

So why this fall? As far as I know there have been no news that would justify such a decline. Also volume has been slim so a price decline on low volume.

Can everyone please calm down. This is hardly a share collapse here - and above all it is a share decline without having any firm news/reasons behind it. We have reached 283p and I have seen previous low points of around 289p.
So everyone calm down and let us await the news in January.

Well I had a look at the sells and noted that these were done at ca 375p and 390p level- so a markedly higher price than the 304p. I also noted that whilst it is not nice to see the Head of AI selling shares I noted that she sold only less than 10% of her holdings.
So whilst not great I think also not a reason for great concern.

Actually I believe katstrangler words have some merit. Around mid year there were big articles in The Times and The Daily Mail on Nanoco and that attracted some traders.
Be it what it is fact is that if Nanoco wins on 12th January they will have effectively nailed Samsung. Yes Samsung can appeal but I doubt that their appeal will be successful.
So if you believe Nanoco has a strong case and a strong legal team you would stay invested and don’t be ruffled by share price gyrations.

@katstrangler: I agree with your take on the situation. Still in my personal opinion people selling now really don’t get the potential of Nanoco- the verdict could be transformative as well as commercialisation with the European client.
I continue to calmly hold but honestly believe that people now selling will be kicking themselves on 12th January.

I took a tranche out at 311p - happy to have done so.
It seems to me that the channel 300-310p is where the share price has found a support since the slide from ca 360p.

For what it’s worth I don’t think that there will be a pre-trial settlement as if Samsung had wanted one they could have concluded by one.
BT had made it very clear in the past that he is open to a fair settlement and Samsung deep coffers could have allowed one to be concluded.
Never mind this will blow up in Samsung’s face.

To be honest Mattyboy for me the only thing that counts is the price after the jury verdict- my hunch says it could be anywhere in the 70-80p range and that is just for past damages. An imposed licensing deal would push this over 100p for sure.

I am so so glad that I put in another tranche on Wednesday at 38.3p.
I hope for Nanoco and for all the resilient Nanoco investors out there that justice will be returned on 12 January.

I bought in today at 70p and am very happy. People can buy my shares at 85p again!

Why they are doing this is beyond puzzling.
I mean they are dragging down their own investment through this.

Well you can always sell one tranche and retain another tranche for future developments.
What I like about Nano are two things: 1) Good scientists and 2) Good sound management.
All too often you only get one half of these two parts.

No Samsung product for me until they have paid us!

@Nanonano: I agree 100% with your view. The jury verdict for me is absolutely the key. Once it is returned favourably to Nanoco Samsung is on the hook and investors can sit back and take a much more relaxed view. If Samsung want to continue to throw money at their lawyers so be it but I think it will be next to impossible for them to retrieve the situation.

@Sammy88: Please don’t go into hibernation. I and am sure many others value your input. Anyway the debate on this board should never get personal in the first place.
