All the lorries I see on the road delivering around Europe and I see many as I live not far from Dover , I’m yet to see an electric one, just imagine the size of the batteries needed to get it from Spain or Poland to here or how many times would they stop for recharge. Also come to that, yet to see an electric ferry or cruise ship. People spouting like Carrot have either not thought it though or have very very very thinly disguised agendas.

Anyone thinking fossil fuels have had or nearly had their day are deluded. You only have to look at the electric cars and most of our household items, all plastic and where does that come from. The electricity used to power our homes, machinery in our factories are mainly reliant on fossil fuels. Indeed to make a Tesla car makes more of a carbon footprint than a normal petrol saloon.We in the developed countries go on about being green what about the majority of people on this planet. They have no such worries. They get on with their lives more concerned about making ends meet instead of our luxuries and worries we can afford to have.

I’ve been tucking away the max in the isa for the last 5 years. This year the plan will start to come together !!! GLA

Hi like you I’ve been playing the long game, averaging down and all in the isa. I’ve got 7 years for this to come good plenty of time I feel . For now I’ll just enjoy my early retirement and wait for the bonanza.

I see yesterday yet again a block of 500,000 plus share went through on or close to the bell. This is seemingly becoming a regular occurrence. Interesting!
