Many think oh here he goes again but the big difference is the discoveries and they won’t go away so in reality this was going to happen sometime. Luckily I’ve managed to accumulate over the last five years in my isa. So anything above 27p is pure non taxable profit! As has been mentioned before successful investing results in money moving from the impatient to the patient. I will not contemplate selling anything at least until Isobel etc is appraised. That’s thought to be massive.

Why would any normal person post negative comments almost every hour about a share they purport to be useless. What are their motives. A normal person would sell up and leave for pastures new, but NOT kurgan or ralph. For the last couple of years my isa limit has been in rockhopper. It’s been a long drawn out affair but ultimately I think will come good. That amount of known oil is bound to be developed eventually but as a new region and with the crash previously things have been difficult. I have investments with professionals, the problem they have is that unless results are almost instantaneous they are fired. Rockhopper will happen they know it but can’t get involved until they get tipped the wink otherwise the money does nothing and they are out of a job. They always hear before us. The best event is to stay fully invested and wait . There are plenty on here trying to depress, disenchant the long term holders, stay firm and reap the rewards. As many have said, share dealing moves money from the impatient to the patient. Sealion is only the beginning, Isobel is thought to be bigger and all oilfield tend to get bigger.

Utter tripe

The other day I was researching world oil usage, the trend etc. The trend is as always upwards and will remain so for many years. True maybe Europe will reduce their dependence on oil but not so the rest of the world. Another interesting fact is that of all oil used, 60% is for transport and 40% for plastics. Even these electric cars are riddled with plastic, Sealion, Isobel etc are all going to be developed and needed.

Do you remember what the deranged Jack Nicholsen character was writing? Reminds me of you. Total and utter c$$$.
