You'd better believe it gilo and it's only going to get stronger, so now might be your buying opportunity or you could miss the boat. 8%seems to be about the norm recently,so it's unlikely to go up much more today. It might fiddle and fart arse around a bit but would expect it to stabilise around this area.

I would like to see him put some significant value into the company before he even thinks about a salary increase, while he's swanning around drawing huge amounts of money from the company the shareholders are suffering huge losses, how can this be right? He needs to justify the salary he currently receives before he even thinks about a rise, and return some shareholder value. It wouldn't be before time!

Just read your post, sounds like a really good common sense approach, I'm in 2 of the companies that you mentioned could I just add another to the mix solgold, there's a banker if ever I saw one. Been going well for the past week,if it continues may sell a few and add here because I believe this will explode at some point..

If I had a pound for every time someone said that highenergy,I would invest all of that money in SOLG, better than any bank. As I mentioned previously this will definitely be over £1, as I don't think that many on this board have thought about the amount of suitors that would be interested,not only the aforementioned ones but china, Russia, Canada USA and how about South Africa, huge interest in my opinion.

Can't see this being under £1 my prediction would be £1.20/£1.50 especially if we get 2/3 majors trying to outbid each other, could be more majors than that interested as this is fairly unique in the mining world. Also copper prices aren't going to standstill with world demand getting higher due to all of these electric vehicles and planes that are in the pipeline.

I refer to Goldenveg's2:27 post to the information on the SOLG website where it clearly states that " SOLG holds pre- emptive rights over ANY disposal by cornerstone " ? Does this include the SOLG shares that Cornerstone hold, I would assume that it does? Can anyone enlighten me as to why it wouldn't, as some people on here have said that Cornerstone has the right to sell them to anyone they wish. Not sure that they are correct in what they say. Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks in advance.

Had a positive feeling yesterday in the 2:40 at Redcar called Jackamundo and it won I managed to get 7/1 in the morning, in fact I went on to have 4 winners all at Redcar. Most were there to be shot at.

Yes Hallowed, there have been many issues, mainly you can't get on to most sites especially first thing in the morning. It's been a problem on and off since about April/ May time, ever since they supposedly updated the site. It's funny how Change nearly always tends to fcuk things up.

Thanks Cereus, but it was 9 years ago we have to move on. Your reasons why you invested here sounds very similar to mine, as you say it's not always about the profit, which is always nice to get, but if I'd envisaged these kind of losses I certainly wouldn't have put my money into this company. I suppose I had thought about doing the right thing for the right reasons,but as some have already said this is Aim ( a villainous society) where you trust people at your peril. It's a shame that things are the way they are, much prefer things the way they were years ago, not so many criminals about then.

Everyone has their reasons for getting involved in this company, my reason was that my wife died of cancer 9 years ago and thought it would be nice to invest into a company that seemed to have good prospects of a cure or at least a nullifying effect on the disease. It may still happen, but I'm not as confident of this as I was when I first got on board. I suppose we have no choice but to hope that the BOD can still pull this out of the fire.

I think that the BOD are responsible for the decline in the SP because of the way they have run the company down, lack of information and their general head in the sand approach to its shareholders. They just don't think that they are accountable to shareholders, in fact they seem to treat them with contempt. Well that's how it feels. As for the bloated salaries that will drag the company down quicker than anything, but do they care? Probably not.

Don't think anything happens rapidly here, apart from a rapidly declining share price, and a rapid fundraising campaign? Just a shame that the Bod can't or won't do something to remedy the situation. Still I suppose that they are not interested providing they keep drawing their obscene salaries.
