Anyone noticed the amount of large trades just been put through, look at the times of the trades? I noticed as I was looking through HL a couple of minutes ago.

I just knew that they would turn up eventually, they just can't help themselves, probably think they are going to miss out on something. Still fair play to them if they can help drive up the prices paid,welcome aboard. Not that they like to pay too much for anything, but if they want a piece of the action then they are going to have to pay for it. Let's hope it gets the ball rolling, anyway where are the rest of them, the likes of Rio, Vale Barrick etc.

I've just managed to get on to this Site, had problems with this Site last week, anyone else having problems with this Site? It's crap, they really need to get this sorted out, it's taken over 2 hours to get logged in here today.. The site is good and very informative when it works, it's only been a problem since they started pissing about with it in April, should have left it alone.

Good morning everyone, seems to be a lot of speculation about the future of SOLG on here today. The way I would like to see this pan out is for SOLG to sell cascabel to the highest bidder not necessarily BHP, then to go on from there to prove up other tenements and become a feeder company to all of the majors in Ecuador and beyond. Then to keep a few plum holdings for themselves to develop later on. That would be the perfect scenario from most investors point of view wouldn't it?

It's my belief that Matd will find Oil in Mongolia, no matter how much some on here try to muddy the waters. Completely agree with you Ojay when you say " Not if but when " and it's also true that many on here are quick profit guys who are not prepared to wait a little longer for the real prize. Of course there will be problems and delays along the way, but surely that's all part of the game. I know that there are some people on here that are trying to intentionally put investors off,but the more seasoned investors won't fall for that old trick,hopefully the less savvy investors will see through their deception and hold for the profits they deserve. Shame on those who employ this deception,I know you don't give a toss and people like you have no shame. You know who you are!

Yes DG1 & The Italian just the point I was making a couple of weeks ago, IE Blackrock increasing its stake and going on to finance future drilling on various projects. Wouldn't surprise me at all, because Blackrock are nobody's fool. Blackrock are also fund managers for St James Place, part of the Jacob Rothschild Group and they are also very well equipped to fund such an event, so anythings possible? Interesting that Vale's Frank Nikolic,head of market intelligence is also at the mines and money conference? Just keeping an eye on events maybe.

I don't think so, okay Dan has made a fundamental "School Boy Error " but I don't know anybody who hasn't made a error of some kind. If there is anybody who can honestly say that they have never been had over a deal, I would like to hear from them now, if not shut the f..k up. I personally believe that Dan will have learned not to trust anyone in the future, and as he has been a brilliant asset to the company, then it's my belief that he certainly does deserve another chance to put the company right. If you look at his past record,the company would probably not be in existence without the work of Dan and his brother and other board members. I know a good man when I see one and that's all I need to know., so come on Dan show the doubters what you are made of.

Exactly Proselenes, we must be getting close to something very good, if you notice all of the idiots have come out to play, they must be crapping themselves if they are shorting this as we are getting closer to the real prize. I was also a mariana shareholder, can't see a political risk here addicknt. The risk of getting too big to offer fair value sounds good to me. Understand your concerns as regards 20 years, but I would like to see fair value plus a premium on top, I'm sure if BHP and Newcrest got together they could easily afford that.

I meant to add that most of the votes were probably cast by large shareholders possibly institutions, so us ordinary shareholders (small pi's) would have limited impact on any outcome.

I understand what you are saying borgie, but some of us were on holiday and others probably couldn't make it due to other commitments i.e. Working etc. So I think you maybe being a bit disengenuous with your comments. I feel sure that if shareholders could have been there they would have, its not always easy to get to these events due to a variety of reasons or another reason for shareholders not turning up to an event maybe that as around 90% had already voted to give the bod "carte blanche " approval to do what they like as regards raising funds they couldn't see any point in their attendance. Call it shareholder apathy, but when so many people have already made that decision, you can probably understand their point of view. Personally I think it's the biggest mistake shareholders have made in a long time.

Well sj100 I think it's a good idea to have a meeting with the BOD, but I personally think that a face to face meeting would probably have more effect than an online meeting. They should be made to face shareholders, then they would have more idea of how incensed and disgruntled their investors really are,not that GM gives a toss about shareholders, which is another good reason to discuss weather he is the right person to be leading this company.

Absolutely so Tozerk,what you have stated today is what I've been saying for a long time now. I can't believe how long they have got away with this roughshod, sloppy performance while being totally unaccountable to its shareholders. Disgraceful behaviour in my opinion.

Could you then respect my belief that we are all going to be very rich when all the wells are drilled and we are absolutely swimming in Oil. Also Bismarck said that he was going to collect me on the way to the Grand National in his helicopter, which never happened, so perhaps he will pick up as many as he can and fly us out to Mongolia next summer and I will pay for the accommodation, sounds like a plan doesn't it?

Just had a look at the last 4 trading days and yes you are right Blackfisk, don't know what's going on but there's something irregular with those trades, definitely not normal. I would take that as a information leak somewhere, whatever is going on it appears to be good, so that's a definite positive for me.

Good morning everyone, I know what you are saying MrP, but not as frustrating as the current share price, but shall keep the faith as I know it will come right in the future. May even buy a few more at these prices.

What's ios? I'm on google Site, which is what I've always used. It's only since they supposedly upgraded the site in April that I've had problems. I'm not the only one who has been having problems with this Site according to people's responses on other share sites.

Finally managed to get on here today. Anyone else having problems with this Site it's shite. Feel sorry for you premium members who pay for this Site.
