A large renewal is a good sign, it shows that people still believe in the technology and trust the company.
They weren't any fake renewals announced during the Wandisco days, these were supposed to be new deals.
Pearls, you wrote earlier, that the IBM and the other partner 'deals' might bring in millions. I really doubt that, that's not how partnerships work in that space, it's not like the whole world is using hadoop. How much revenue has been generated by the Azure partnership?
Personally I'd be happy if they even bring in 4 Mil in new deals in Q4, but time is running out.
Amd yet I just can't believe that SK would stick to his forecast, if there wouldn't be at least a 85% chance to achieve it.
So I'm a bit clueless right now, what is really going on, but I guess the next weeks will enlighten us all.
