This might sound rude, but I think there was never much of a reputation to restore for Wandisco/Cirata - they've been burning investor money for almost 20 years. A solid solution, but always overhyped, perhaps in smaller setting it would have worked better. Let's be honest, they always had quite a management problem, the VP/Director ratio was always ridicolous.
Stephen Kelly looks like a decent chap and he has an impressive track record.
I just don't know if an environment like Cirata is his natural habitat, meaning it's a niche solution, no matter how often people try to link it to the whole AI thing (hoax).
Yes, data fuels AI and 2-3 years ago they were in a very good position, but nowadays there are a lot of good alternatives for migrating or moving data.
I still don't understand why it took SK so long to trim the management to a more appropriate size compared to the revenue that's being generated.
Agree, the IBM deal was important, huge number, no doubt, but it wasn't a new deal.
Given the fact that we've been promised 15m, I think we all felt disappointed. Still, a major bank investing such a sum shows us that customers still believe in the company. Kudos to the technical staff and the CS team!!
I know, that's the way Linkedin works these days, but I'd like to see more substance than posts about former achievements.
I think there is a direct correlation between the number of videos and the level of XX.
