I think it is a combination of both.

Sk's magic doesn't seem to work here and while Wandisco/Cirata had it's moments, I think that opportunity window has closed even before SK joined.

No significant activities with any of the big three players in the cloud market (AWS, GCP, Azure), renewals being announced as new deals. why brag about cultural changes and management styles when the outcome is zero?

Mentioning AI in every post on Linkedin, doesn't translate into revenue.

It looks like they're more into content creating than selling software...

That means we will see nothing significant until the end of Q4 and then two weeks before the the end of the FY the millions will miraculously disappear into thin air?

All these partnerships that are supposed to go at full steam and not anything to report?

Everybody kept telling how many opportunities AI would bring...

I think it speaks fir itself, that Chris Cochran needs to share an old success story about Manulife, because they have nothing new.

I did lose some many during the wandisco days, not the world though, invested a bit more when Kelly took over.

I'm now underwater like everyone else here.

I thought they would move more in the autonomous driving, IoT direction, which they didn't .

The whole Hadoop to cloud use case, doesn't seem to cut it. If there was a big demand, we would have seen more sales.

The discrepancy between Cirata's (Linkedin) messaging and reality is what annoys me most.

I want Cirata to succeed, but I think it's just not in the cards.

@Pearls: my approach is totally different, I think there isn't a real market for what Cirata has to offer.

They tried for so many years and every year (including Wandisco) we heard the story of an imminent breakthrough...

It just never happened.

I don't consider myself as a member of the anit-Cirata fanclub. We would all profit from a rising SP, I just don't like being misled by false promises.

@Pearls: A more positive vibe within Cirata? Where did you get that impression from? All the gung ho Linkedin posts turned out to be BS.

Either way, with his experience he should have seen through that.

The facts are not too encouraging and the lack of transparency doesn't help to rebuild my confidence...

Any other CEO would have been tarred and feathered after two years of overpromising and underdelivering.

Has anybody heard back from SK? I dropped him an email, but never gotten anything back. Same with Hayes.

I really you're right Pearls, but I can't help to point out, that all these contacts and meetings haven't brought in any significant deals so far...

Basically all the heavy lifting revenue-wise came from renewals and Cirata's CS/Tech staff deserves the honours for that.

There were so many fundamental mistakes, like the slipped deal narrative, the 3 CRO's, the financial guidance desaster before Xmas...

Talk to someone from AWS, GCP or Microsoft, lots of partnership announments, but close to no revenue at all coming in via the channel.

No doubt SK has an impressive track record before he joined Cirata...

Since Cirata, not so much.

All I see (and I think the SP reflexts that) is promises, followed by more unkept promises.

Two years with almost no new customers.

Let's face it, if Cirata had really such a cutting edge technology, we should have seen more sales instead of Linkedin posts...

Cirata moves unstructured data, that's it. There wss some magic in it 2-3 years ago, but nowadays there are not the only place to go to.

Giving WANdisco's and Cirata's track record, I'd say none...

I'm pretty sure a lot of Cirata's execs will now have a 'valid' reason to travel to the UAE...

Looks more like a 360 turnaround to me...
