What I mean is, it will give a better idea of infection at population level, if someone can isolate after a positive test (even if a false positive) then risk of transmission is removed, if that person needs to be at work/admitted to hospital/travel then they could get a PCR test for confirmation.
Have to say this lockdown won’t be over by Dec 2 with secondary schools and HE still open...
