There will be rules around news that you know you must announce. But you can’t know what you don’t know if that makes sense! So for example there are lots of tenders out right now, which we all know, some may be announced next week but GM knows as much as us about whether NCYT will win it so there’s nothing to stop him trading now, even if he has to do an rns next week

Yes it’s Genereach. Which looks Taiwanese...as has been recognised, NCYT can’t meet demand for all tests, but I’d have hoped for UK companies’ products chosen by DHSC wherever possible

True...Opencell doesn’t use the Q machines but does use Primerdesign tests.

I’m no cheerleader for this government and its handling of covid but there’s an interesting change to the testing data page that I noticed today - they have specified PCR testing capacity and you can see that the recent increase has been huge...from 446k on 26 Oct (already a big increase from 1 Sept 249k) to 446k yesterday. Primerdesign has been busy!! 380,000 tests (all pillars) conducted yesterday, massive increase of 66k in pillar 2 (which includes the LFT’s in Liverpool, a high infection area) which would probably explain a chunk of the rise in cases. Now we need to see the big rise in PCR tests undertaken happening...

Cardinal if it is a phantom share scheme that is in place to reward directors for increases in share price then that is a CASH bonus, not shares. That (cash) would not require an rns. A payment of shares as part of a bonus would be specified as such in the rns so as not to mislead investors into thinking it was a purchase. So he may well have acquired the cash through that bonus, it was his choice how to spend it!

Cardinal how do you explain the trade that was screenshotted if GM was given the shares?

Pantman the situation on Monday was shocking, chat down here all day and many PI’s unable to access their trading accounts (AJBell/IG/HL/Barclays had similar stories). Others had trades messed up/duplicated/dumped. Not sure what we can do as PI’s except switch to platforms that stood the test.

Agree this is all semantics Aquisition/purchase but 62Rick the bonus you mention is a share scheme, had he received it then it would have been shares not cash - and the change in his holding would have to be notified via rns - the number and value of shares acquired according to today’s rns don’t tally with the phantom share scheme.

Wouldn’t he have received 1/3 of 1.1m shares, as set out in the post earlier, if it was the phantom share scheme? That would be worth about £3m and I’m sure the rns would need to be clear on this
