Shocking reading...more than 130 Secret Service officers are currently isolating (either with or at risk of having covid) because of an outbreak at the White House following campaign rallies by Trump before the election, Chief of Staff also infected, plus at least 8 staffers and more than a dozen aides. Many involved with the campaign are now sick after attending the meeting in the East Room of the White where Trump gave remarks last Wednesday. What a twonk Trump is.

If they have the tie in with AZ vaccine, which would be a long term proposition with consistent high revenue, and they are partnering with us to manufacture the ELISA machines anyway (I have to wonder about this because we have our own ELISA test) then its another diagnostic revenue stream to acquire - if the price was right, why not?

What a week. The weekend will at least be free of share price drama! Good to see ODX recovering as well, interesting news on the tests/AZ vaccine. Some chat on ODX board speculating whether their ELISA test manufacturing partner might be NCYT...would ODX be a good acquisition for NCYT? We know they were/are looking at more than just IT-IS. Thoughts?

I would think that NCYT are trying to win contracts all over the place at the moment. If such a large one were to be won that would change the forecasts materially, then it could be argued that the directors have no more knowledge than the market of that. Similarly, we are all aware of the possibility of stage 2 of DHSC being awarded any day but our guess is as good as the boards on that - it would be announced because it would take the company's forecast towards 'blue sky' but still within what is known. by everyone, so not insider trading.

It doesn't work quite like that Simon. Under the AIM rules there is a 'close period' of 60 days prior to the release of annual results (and 30 days before interims) during which directors are not allowed to deal. Other than that they are not allowed to deal if they are in possession of any price sensitive information that has not been released to the market via rns. For the French market, as I understand it, this is more specifically defined as not having anything to announce via rns for 15 days. If something that requires an rns happens immediately after the dealing (or during the 15 days) then that would still have to be announced and should not be withheld because it has occurred so close to the directors deals. Remember an rns can contain bad as well as good information.

I may be wrong but I don't think that cryo thing called VersaLab is anything to do with Primerdesigns..the trademark is clearly different typeface (Primerdesigns is 'VERSALAB'..typeface is specific when you do a trademark search) and the cryo machine is from a different company. There is a TM on the website but I can't find a registration for it.

ShaunP could I suggest keeping a close eye on Avanta in the US, if PrimerDesign could meet demand from what looks like might happen there then the potential looks ridiculous

Troublesome - that might explain some of the delay with releasing the results of the nursing home trial (for residents) too, if they have introduced those at a late stage? Could be wild speculation of course!

Squidgy as I understand it (I’m not any kind of expert), the trades will be marked up as buy/sell according to the price but uses the price at which they are reported rather than the actual time of the trade...so it’s not always accurate, you need to check and work it out based on the price at the time of the trade.

Hillseeker I thought they must mean LFT for 15 mins too but the article definitely says machine to be tested next.. intriguing (could the mysterious Versalab/Promate be involved??)
