That's a lot of shares issued to bring debt down from £59.1m to £55.1m.

As long as POG remains firm then a rerate is as close to inevitable as it gets on AIM. Time and POG at these levels (or even higher?) will do it.

No Daisy despite the numerate recommends for your post that's complete BS. Garnet didn't just acquire 60% of Enerox for $3.25, they acquired (I think) 10%. They weren't non holders previously... So that would make the total value $32.5m not $5.4m and even then we know this was a forced sale which undervalued Enerox.

So true value is still someway north of $32.5m and BMN still owns a significant share.

The last time you popped up the share price was 45p and you predicted 10p incoming so you can hardly act all prophetic with the share price at 60p today.

Really? Did you not wonder why ncyt were valued at half of their net cash position, something that’s virtually unheard of?

I suppose you might have chalked it up to the dispute but I’m not so sure, when you look at how many cases the DHSC has lost and you look at the info that’s out there in the public domain I don’t think many think the gov. have a leg to stand on.

It’s the terrible operational performance over the past few years that has them trading so low. So nothing new here.

KilkennyTed, this is exactly why many Yourgene holders may *feel* Yourgene is worth way more than what NCYT has offered but realistically they are talking potential if funded which is not the reality.

The share price was arund 2p before the capital raise at 0.3p with over 2.1B shares issued. What happens if this acquisition falls through? Issue billions more shares?

Steady organic growth, a positive resolution that adds a little more to the cash pile and an acquisition strategy that includes another one or two large purchases plus a few small bolt ons...

That, if executed successfully, will be a company worth many times the current £44m market cap.

It's another nothing trading update. Cash burn a little higher than one would ideally like but hopefully we'll see that translate into organic growth soon. Still £50m to invest post Yourgene acquisition.

Yes that's not quite right but based on enterprise value SHG is currently the cheapest miner... to be comparable with Centamin the share price would be 13.7p according to BBN. Here's the thread that explains:

It was a total of 57.5M shares for a gross figure of £5.75m. I'm sure they set out to raise a ton more than that but took what they could get.

Let's say hypothetically Argo were somehow able to issue another 400M shares for £40m, how much hash would that actually add? I think S19 XPs currently cost around $32/£26/TH so £40m would buy Argo about 1.5EH/s?

They'd still be producing less coins per month once we reach April and the halving.

Kaeren I've lost count of the number of times I've seen shareholders say something like 'you won't be getting my shares for anything less than £2.50' with the share price at 10p and I've never once seen that pie in the sky price achieved and in many cases a year or so later (taking the above example) the share price is even lower than it was to start with. If you're offered multiple times the SP you take it!

Without doubt Loggy. Singida execution risk eliminated and overall group risk *vastly* reduced with the net debt falling so fast and soon to turn positive.

Worth pointing out the change imo - going from small falls to flat could well be a sign of bottoming.

No you don't hate to say it, this is at least the third time you've focused on the Poddar's race and it's extremely ugly.

This is the biggest difference right now between Shanta and HUM:

Now compare that with SHG's $8.7m of net debt / $2m when the VAT rebate is received...

The novacyt share price cannot be chalked up to buying Yourgene 'on the cheap'. What you have to understand is that prior to this news there were doubts whether Novacyt could use the £87m cash they had or whether it was ring-fenced due to the DHSC dispute that now has a court date for June 2024.

With absolutely no news from the company the market cap trickled down from about £180m fifteen months ago all the way to a ridiculous low of £25m a few weeks before the acquisition RNS. Obviously the news has caught the market's attention as novacyt buy a competitor with decent potential, pay off all their debts, and still have over 75% of their cash left in the bank.

It's certainly the case that we've seen 100% rises over a matter of trading days on more than a handful of occasions and it's possible we see that again.

I'll be happy if the share price settles around this level now, anywhere between 60p and 70p for a little while until the acquisition goes through and further progress / updates are released. No rush to get back above a pound and would rather simply see a higher trading range and a floor put in around here vs wild daily swings.
