If you really believed the shi* you post then you'd have waited for these results to come out and then have got your 20% lower entry yet instead you bought in heavily (your words) pre quarterly update, an update that you supposedly knew was going to produce poorer results than the likes of me posited.

The increase in admin costs will be largely fundraise related - i.e. a one off.

No the company has no choice but to have the shares suspended if they fail to meet the legal deadline to submit accounts by... this is different to the past two years where an extension was given to the company of two months.

If they had signposted the suspension it would almost certainly have caused a sell off even if a reasonable excuse was made so this is probably the one and only route they could go with.

My hope is that there's positive commentary alongside the lifting of suspension as well as an operational update to show the market that all is well on the business side.

The very simple explanation for why Riot is valued where it is the amount of liquidity to debt, that's it. We are in very uncertain times and as CLSK has pointed out this sector is unviable mot of the time and yet there's not really a situation in which Riot would run into trouble.

Lowest downside risk but less of an upside which makes it the choice of the more risk averse in this sector.

As long as there's some good news alongside any lifting of suspension then the share price should respond favourably.

Largo made a loss in Q1 with realised sales price well over $9/lb v205, that immediately informs anyone thinking their cash costs are around $3/lb that they are wrong.

And before you ask no it's not a simple Lbs to Kg conversion of 2.2

Largo adjusted its cash operating cost (exc royalties) per lb sold guidance to $4.85 – 5.65 from $4.85 – 5.25. Taking the midpoint that's $5.25/lb. To get from there to KgV you have to multiply it by ~4 times so Largo's cash costs come in around the $22/kgV mark, possibly higher as i've been conservative with the conversion.

We'll have to agree to disagree. If because of:

(i) April (to 24th) Vanchem figure is given and we are told by mgmt that a corner has been turned +

(ii) Informed that load shedding is no longer causing a problem +

(iii) Production guidance maintained on 21st June with knowledge of almost the entire Q2

I come to the conclusion that all is on track and therefore BMN are returning to profit I am perfectly entitled to put those views across and when they don't materialise it's not the supporter of the company that has cost others money it's the management themselves for painting a rosier picture than the reality.

What nonsense re rampers. If anything what these results prove is that the investment case the likes of Pdub and I have been pushing holds true, all we needed to see was guidance being met and profits were going to be rather significant and make a mockery of the current valuation.

Additionally we were also given April’s numbers at Vanchem and they were strong and there were hints from management along the way that this was lining up to be a great quarter (load shedding issues behind them etc)

… that’s all we had to go on. It’s not the ‘rampers’ fault that target was then missed and production guidance was subsequently downgraded.

If one was to look at things from a glass half full perspective then it's abundantly clear just how profitable BMN will be if they can achieve what Fortune set out to achieve by now (5000mtV+ steady state production. The floor is Craig's to finish the job Fortune wasn't able to complete.

Won't lie though i'm mightily frustrated by these production figures.

Production figure is the headline and that is extremely disappointing.

The positives? The cash cost guidance has more or less been maintained (only the slightest drop from $26.55.kgV to $26.75/kgV) and sales have far outpaced production for once so despite the poor quarterly production numbers BMN will be building the cash position nicely.

Craig's got his work cut out but there's still a solid base to start from.

Very much invested still but not one to speculate until facts are known.

There are gold miners / explorers with higher upside potential than Shanta but they come with a hell of a lot of risk... what you get here is a very decent chance of 50%+ returns with limited downside - even if POG were to drop to sub $1800/Oz anyone in SHG for the fundamentals will stick it out.

Very favourable upside and minimal downside is a good place to be in this market.

It's fairly obvious that they were still hoping for the accounts to be signed off by yesterday and when it didn't happen the shares got suspended first thing next day with an explanation to follow - I think that's standard in this situation.

From this post and previous ones it sounds like you’ve sat on the sidelines for a while and are trying desperately hard to make more of this so as it justify your decisions.

Most likely a mountain out of a molehill and we’ll see a strong upwards SP movement when the news we’re hoping for lands.
