Great update from AS. He is clearly a very clever man technically but he speaks so naturally and explains everything in clear simple language that everyone can understand. You don’t get many Tech geniuses that can do that. It just confirms we will have the full house! Best sensitivity but also cheapest, easiest to use and distribute and, gives the quickest results. Why on earth would any government or organisation want to pay more for something that is not as good, slower and more difficult ….. We could clean up here!

If it helps anyone sleep better. I'm a normal guy (just some A levels) but most the people I work with have PhDs. This was like being in a work meeting and trust me when I say, you can be on the brink of the most amazing thing in the world! The technical PhDs guys will still always find plenty of negative things that they are not 100% happy about and want the focus to be on that.... genioues, brilliant, amazing people, but don't do upbeat, just not in their nature.

I do find it worrying how many people on here seem to genuinely think Covid is now yesterdays news. If this is reflective of the general population I fear it does not make a second lockdown likely but invertible. At best, this is the end of the beginning but we are still a very long way off the end….if it ever comes at all. Forgetting making money on this share and just thinking of humanity I sincerely hope I am wrong but, they have been trying to get rid of the Flu and common cold since time began (something worth many billions to whoever solved the problem so not due to lack of effort or funding) and they haven’t managed it. It’s a big thing to come up with a vaccine and an even bigger one to administer it to billions of people…it will take years, if it comes at all. More people have covid now than ever. Its only been kept under control because we have all been locked up for 3 months. Lockdowns are being lifted because governments now have to think of the economy and although they won’t say it, that the economy is now a higher priority that 1% of the populations lives (sad, wrong but probably true). Please do not go around thinking you have less chance of catching it now than you did in March. We may have got more use to it but it’s the same very contagious, deadly virus it was before and it’s still all over the place…Please stay safe

Hi All, I very pleased to see some stability back in the SP and in the general sanity of the posts on here. I’m a busy man so will pick on just a few of the point I would like to make. I found the amount of emphasis on delay in the LFT and how this must mean problems very frustrating. Alastair Smith said in mid May it will take a ‘few weeks’. Some people took this as meaning, a few weeks must mean, more than 2 weeks? Therefore he must mean exactly 21 days from now! This was their mistake not the CEO’s. Mid May to end of June falls into a fair usage of the term a few weeks (If its not a couple of months /few months so a few weeks is appropriate). We are asking them to put some invisible cells onto a piece of paper that when interacted with saliva can then ‘read’ that persons individual saliva and, in a way that it can be mass produced and delivered to the world. Extremely clever stuff that no one can be too shocked about takes 6/7 weeks to put together. The product is still on schedule! Covid is still as contiguous as before and in just about every country in the world. Everyone social distancing, wearing PPE, not travelling abroad, not going to sporting / festival events etc. is not getting back to normal!. This is still the great product that everyone really needs that everyone was so excited about last month. The only difference now is that we are even closer to the fruition point. Some stock market games have happened in-between but this is still the share everyone is watching.

also I remember him having a pop at Avacta when it was around 60p a share, saying it was going nowhere but down. It's just proves what he thinks means nothing and maybe a good omen. We have gone up 150% since his last pop.

We need that Sharehunter guy back. During his couple of hours worth of far form subtle attempts to get people to sell the SP went up 10%. I thought that was hilarious but he just couldn't stop. Come on Sharehunter another 10% spike up would be lovely...get posting! :)

Its great we broke the voodoo first hour of trading big drop today. Sorry if it applies to any of you and you have done well out of it but that was mostly to do with people thinking it would happen making it happen and, was getting very annoying! With anticipation of good news tomorrow I would say its very unlikely to happen tomorrow as well, meaning if you want to be in for a potential big rise you probably want to get in today. I am presuming this will be the general conscious so expecting a good run on the SP late afternoon. Last hour of trading could be very interesting. Will the MM just let it go or try and hold it back…can’t wait to see.    

My prediction for what it is worth.  Calling a 2pm presentation is significant (last ones have been after trading hours) The Cytiva news we be released jointly so will come in US timeframe i.e. UK afternoon. Release it at 12:30 GMT on Thursday, let both the UK and US markets process it for an hour or so and then drive the details and significance home with a presentation soon after letting the markets go wild before UK close…. Would be genius and I think Alastair Smith is one!

I’ve actually never read a placing RNS and been so pleased. Yes a dilution but what it says is that they are very confident they are sitting on something very big (which they are) and they want to be in the driving seat to bring forward. It empowers their position massively with the ongoing negotiations they are having with major players. We no longer need you, you need us! So no cutting our margins down you can be in or we can do it ourselves / go elsewhere.  Game changer! And confirms to me that they know what they have got works and is worth a fortune.

Hi All, I bought in here a week or so ago. I think it’s a very worthwhile punt. Its getting more and more apparent that Blood is a very significant part or Covid 19.

Its certainly an ‘If’ but has the potential to be massive… if its starts getting government recommended to look after your blood in the same way, for example we are encouraged to take vitamin C to look after our immune system. PXS could have many big food and beverage firms queuing up to get FF into their products. They will know the “proven to help you blood flow” label will improve their sales greatly. This could become very big indeed. I just hope the management are thinking big also and getting the knowledge of this product out there.    

As you can see, I don’t post but feel I have to point this one out. Avacta produce the Affimers and therefore a defo RNS form us that this part of the job has been done and sent to our partners. The ball is then in their court to do their part (produce the rapid test strips etc.) It is therefore not in Avacta’s position to release information regarding the work one of their partners has done before they do. Hence it’s in the afternoon (US morning) that there should be excitement / disappointment about an RNS update. The Cytiva RNS will not come at 7am GMT. It will be an afternoon (most likely 1:30pm) RNS….fingers crossed its today!
