JDT, yep completely agree but still, what is stated in an RNS has to be factual. If situations change which make the information within said RNS no longer factual then a new RNS should be released to clarify the new facts!

JDT, I don't know it but I do know at that time we all thought the validation that we were told would be complete at the end of summer, was just taking a bit longer than expected so far to presume S&S numbers could / should drop any day.
Sadly its much more logically likely that AS knew that they were not in a position to even start validation let alone have it completed. Sorry, I have always defended the guy passionately but this should have been put in an RNS! Oh hang on that will drop the SP, and me and the Mrs want a new house....it does not look or small good.

We do have to face facts that AS words
"to further develop the potential for the BAMS COVID-19 test" are not good to hear when the market was expecting "exquisite" S&S figures and confirmation that BAMS is fantastic, and ready to be sold in the masses.
I'm holding for the long term so yes another big player on board is good but can't butter this RNS up as being more good news than bad...its mostly bad!
Yet another big delay, AS integrity in serous doubt. The time he cashed in nearly half a million quid we were all believing from his words that BAMS was about to be on the market any day. He knew it was miles off and withheld that information to fill his own pockets....seriously bad!!!

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on when roughly we think BAMS could finally be on the market?
Sadly for me it sounds like it still a long way off. To pluck a guess 4 to 6 months? I would love to be wrong. Any other theories out there?

If you go onto any of the BB's on LST you will likely find a shareholder or two complaining about "lack of news". We can't expect companies to think about shareholders all day and update us every week but we are all well within our rights to have the hump now.
I for one don't mind waiting but I need to know what I am waiting for and roughly how long the BOD believe that wait will last.

Well put Red, I hope you are right and that could all add up. However the bit for me that doesn't is yes, goverment will want a secure supply so why not place a contract pre-order? "We will take everything you make trusting it meets X,Y,Z criteria."
There clearly is secrecy and gagging orders out there but I don't think its all goverment. We are in bed with many other companies and it makes more sense to me that it is one / two / all of them that are holding us back.

AS must be feeling the pressure. Partners /and competitors releasing news, trading update due and lots of media attention regarding testing and the new variants.
He knows another kicking the can down the road update with the Covid tests "its progressing but that's all I am telling you" will go down like a led balloon. He will need to juggle his gagging orders from his contract negotiations with Stockmarket rules regarding withholding price sensitive information.
He will know this all needs to be addressed and very soon as Avacta can not stay silent for much longer, keep its reputation and keep to the stockmarket rules.
1) Its upset your shareholders with another will tell you something later RNS....(I personally can take this so long as they stick their neck out and say when.. dates!)
2) Work like crazy to get something over the line before the end of the week so you can release some actual solid news.
3) come clean if there are problems and explain all with details and solid dates etc that we can expect any issues to be sorted.

I do think after this week, at a push after the first week of Feb there is no longer a 4) stay silent option.

Its only a 0.3% dilution for 100k in the company accounts...no big deal.

Dflynch, fair enough lets just agree to respectably disagree.
For me, data can always be twisted to support any argument. What you can't disagree with is what your own eyes see. I watch a segment of the BBC news last night where they were in an intensive care unit. Nurses in tears, looking completely exhausted and saying they can not possibly give everyone in their care, the care they need.
If its like this even after all the steps that have been taken I hate to think what would have happened if they were not taken.

However I too am entitled to my opinion and you are coming across as someone who thinks this covid stuff is some sort of conspiracy? No difference with the Flu! Sorry but my opinion is one of shock that some people can actually think this.
