Just take a breath and think about both scenarios here.
Great to have some excitement and hope that we are in with a chance to win some of this tender.
We do not know, at all if we will even bid let alone win the tender.
Hope is good, convincing yourself its some sort of done deal may just lead to disappointment and frustration. Let's sit, wait and be hopeful but count no chickins until they have hatched.

OK, some good reasoning form some of you is making me come around to the idea we 'might' well be part of this tender. My question is does anyone know if there is a way we can find out tomorrow? I'm guessing bidding is not RNS news worthy, we would only get an RNS if our bid was successful i.e. awarded. Will the goverment website update tomorrow listing who has submitted a bid?

Both TT and BAMS news is price sensitive for our partners (Cytiva and Adeptix) as well. Both listed on the US stock exchange so one would expect a joint RNS and that to be tied in with US market open..... 2pm RNS maybe?

There are rerates and rerates! The MM's don't put the price up 40% out of the kindness of their harts, wherever it was and wherever it landed is somewhat irrelevant. 40% rise is very relevant.
It dropped for a reason (vaccine) and the MM's would not raise it up again for no reason. Something is coming very soon I am sure of it.

Thats nearly a 40% SP rise in less than 24 hours. You can't tell me this is not based on significant incoming news!

The last few times we had a sharp rise like this it has resulted in an RNS...hold tight people, could our long wait finally be over?? This is where we do get an RNS but its another share option take up of a few thousand...Still I will take it.

Will respectively disagree with you on that one. The cost of the vaccine is one thing but the real cost will be the 10's of thousands of nurses needed to administer the injections, the storage and logistics and admin costs, all those appointments, missed appointments it will be a massive and expensive headache...or sned boxes of tests off to local authorities and get people to take a test before any large events...in the meantime test waste water to keep an eye on things. We don't talk about that one much here but think our work with Deepverge will really pay off long term.

Correct amateur, the immunity question is a very big one in regards for testing need and is still unknown. They think natural immunity lasts around 6 months, lets say its the same for the vaccine. So you then need to give everyone in the world 2 vaccines every year, 2 injections each time so 4 a year...each! You would need about 10% of the worlds population to work on achieving that and goverments would start to run out of money to fund it. Even with a vaccine I think long term, quick, regular and cheep testing will be the path government's take, with vaccinating the most vulnerable only.

I recommend everyone listens to Alastair's last one again. If you do, it is very clear that its was always going to be the second half (starting now) of Q4 that any significant news would come. Lots of talk and worry of delays and problems but if you listen to the presentation we are where Alastair said we would be.
I will start to get concerned if we have no news by the end of next week but at the moment there's nothing to suggest we are not on plan and schedule.

Shouldn't complain we will all love the man in dare I say in "a few weeks". But for all his genius he really needs to understand the common man and womans understanding of time is very different to his.

Vaccine news has already been priced in. Hold your nerve it doesn't actually change anything.

After the last presentation I pencilled in this week as the week TT would be complete. This is very unscientifically based on me thinking it will take at least 6 weeks for clinical validation. TT this week would then give us a good chance to meet Al’s end of Q4 target. This is not to say validation could take a shorter time to complete but the 4 months for BAMS does not fill you with confidence.  
Its been a long frustrating wait but it might well play nicely into our hands. The wait has condensed the time period for big news to hit. We could get both TT conformation and BAMS validation very close together  (I think both this week but maybe one this week and one next), with AV6000 news soon after. This will give the SP big momentum with little to no rest bite in between.
I know we have all been thinking and saying for a long time now but I really do think this will be 'the' transformation week for AVCT.
