Yes the waste water detection does not get mentioned much and I think this could be a very big revenue indeed. I'm not sure if I have missed something so maybe someone on here can help me out?
The collaboration with SKIN (now DVRG) RNS made it sound like a given that Affimers were going to be used and work, validation was going to take place in Aberdeen uni and this was about 12 weeks ago. SKIN released and RNS titled "First US Integumen 'COVID19' detection agreement" last week. If that's a commercial agreement using our Affimers then we should have got an RNS no?..we should have also got one when the validation was completed. If they are not using Affimers then what / how are they detecting it? No clarifications from either us or SKIN/DVRG on this, so as I say, have I missed something?

Obviously the market have p00 p00ed (sorry Mrs Stu) the breathalyser idea but let us remember its being validated at the moment and we only need to wait a couple more months for the results of that. If these are good then I can see big interest returning.  The one sticking with me is getting people back into big football (and other sport) stadiums. I am in Avacta as well and their test is going to be great of mass home testing. You need to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the results. Realistically you can’t have 60,000 odd people going through turnstiles then waiting in some sort of holding pen while they do a test and prove they are negative. For it to work they need to do a test before heading to the stadium and then have a way to prove they have done it when there (i.e. can scan a barcode at the same time they do their ticket to the game). Airports have lots of staff and cabin crew etc . that can deal with a few hundred people boarding a plain , dealing with 10’s of thousands of people at the same time is a very different challenge and our breathalyser is still the best solution to it that I have heard of to date.  If the product is good and big business need it then funding will be no problem. I’m sure if the Premier League saw it as the best way to get people back into stadiums they will very happily throw whatever money it takes at it.
This aside the testing for Covid in waste water IS going to be massive. Cheap and effective its just too much common sense for governments not to go for it. They will not want to pay billions on testing everyone every few weeks. Check the water and just get those in any hot spots to take a test. ..obvious! ...actually darn! Probably slims the chance of the government doing it then :)
Its always depressing seeing your red percentage in your portfolio but unless you really need your money now I would say relax. We only need to wait another 2 months or so and the herd will be back!

I fully agree, 4million revenue this year for the part of the company that is almost a sideline to the main future revenue streams is big news. With a MC of just 35million it proves how massively undervalued this share is.

Captain, I agree with you fully. Don't get me wrong my post was not some sort of desperate ramp, just intrigued and torn between encouraging those thinking to come in (we have all been there waiting and then seeing your play continuing to go up) and thinking sod them haha! Just I am now very confident that bar a 5% fluctuation here and there I can't see anything other than a steady increase from here.

My feeling from the pop in’s posters on here is that lots of people are looking for a get in price.  ‘They’ are also generally under the impression that they have some time to position their chips and wait for a perfect moment. As previously identified and confirmed on here there are many 10/20/30+% possible RNS releases that could drop at 'any' time. I’m looking forward to seeing what will happen this time tomorrow, will the FOMO kick in or will the ‘we have time’ misinformed prevail? The whole ‘Don’t want to be out over the weekend’ gets over done a bit but with our partners Cytiva and Adeptrix (US based) other partner Daewoong (Korea). “Looking for manufactures in Asia” and general goverments urgency around Covid testing we can definitely say work is being done to bring our products to market 24/'7'!. Between 4:30pm Friday and 8am Monday is 63.5 hours. Lots of people doing their jobs for that length of time can make a lot of progress so I really would say, ....sorry but….You really don’t want to be out over the weekend!

Yes the elusive blue cap is the only hope here. However my faith with the business side of this company is now so low im wondering if they have any sort of a plan on what they will do if, no I will be optimistic and say when they get it? They don't appear to have a clue on how to sell something! I will live in hope that the blue cap comes soon. Looked like it was on the cards this time last year and thanks to today copy and paste 'update' we appear to be in exactly the same position....another year and some 300k waisted! How, why, who's to blame, that's what I will be asking.

This is a crazy game. Company announces a £3 million contract and the SP goes down. However I still have faith. My experience is to never try and make any rhyme or reason of daily or weekly SP movements but the truth does eventually shinning through. Good news today with more highly likely to come in the near future. I'm chilled, SP will go up in time.

Agree! This is just a bottom draw play with me but there is only so long of buring money and not driving the business forward anyone can take. Their problem to me is clear. They are still looking at themselves as a purely scientific company, let's do another study, look for patents etc. They badly need a bulldog business developer on the BoD. Someone who's going to drive the business side of things forward and actually make something of the good scientific work they have done. You can have the best product in the world but without the right business brain and credentials you ain't going to make any money from it. Its high time they move to the next chapter and move from being scientist to businessmen!

kicking the can down the road comes to mind. Pressure is on now, just about get away with "we are working on it" (blue cap / covid opportunities) for one year but if you still want your share holders to pay your salary then you had better deliver the year after.

Yes well said Paulcon, the ironic thing now is that if only the waste water and sink side if the business was spoken about yesterday (something that can and should....will! generate millions in profits) then the SP would be higher than it is now.
It appears a company having the audacity to announce plans that could make them billions is so bad it makes there other products bad as well?? The market is a strange thing! A company with new exciting tech and very big ambitions sounds a good one to be invested in to me.

A market over reaction ...is what happened. Yes, there could be an argument that the rise on the antisapation was over done but when a SP falls 25% it means, in normal world anyway that the company must have just posted some bad, or in fact very bad news or data. We actually announced some very good and exciting news today. A 25% drop on the basis it was not as good as some thought is well over done. Good news is GOOD news. This will get reflected in the SP tommorow / Monday I am sure.

Yep, sure does. Once this dust settles people will see it's now a company with a MC of £45 million and what they have announced today means come the new year they could be making that sort of money in a week. Can see a big jump up in the SP tomorrow.

Think this must be the first time I have seen a company feature in the top 5 risers and fallers in the same day. It sums up the total irrational and illogical craziness of this market...where will it finish is anyones guess but it was a good RNS, such a drop makes no sence at all but unfortunately sence and AIM have no connection.

Hi AW, do you know what I think you are onto something. Just wondering if you fancy going into business with me and we can show Big Al how its done. I mean how difficult can it be. We can bash up some of these protein Affimer things that single out a specific microscopic target. What’evs! I got my kids a top of the range science set last Christmas so we can use that – Affimers Done. Then we can pop down to Ryman’s  get hold of a load of A4 paper, slap our Affimers on, let it dry or, I could maybe get my Mrs to iron them on for us? Would speed the process up a bit, you can just call me geniuses! Bet Sir Al has not thought of that one…sucker! Then, we just need to cut the paper up into little strips (I can get my kids onto that one) and get those sent off for validation (they will surly work and come back with best in class numbers, the science set was one of the best on the market after all) While that’s happening we can talk to a few international manufacturers, sort out distribution channels and final design and start talking to global governments about orders. What you reckon £20 a pop ish? Sounds about right to me, we will be billionaires by Christmas…..simples! Lets do it! You in?
