It's probably happened before but I know I have never seen a situation where cash in bank + money owed equals 30% more than the entire Mcap!
You could purchase the whole company make an almost instant 30% profit without selling anything and you then get the company and all its assets for free!
Yeah worth keeping a stake in such a firm for me.

Obviously very confident, confirm in fact that they will get nearly £9 million from the goverment soon or latest May (3 months).
Confirmed major TT of a market leading test will be complete within the next 4 weeks with pre orders.
With the first RNS sounding very confident it's a matter of time before the goverment starts using Antibody testing and the goverment used the AbC-19 test to do their study so got to be front runners that this would be the test of choice to roll out nationally.

In all seriousness its a good point. Our attention might be elsewhere at the moment with potential
world war 3 and all, but it means nothing , and is doing nothing for the course of covid. Covid will continue doing its thing whatever us humans are up to, and with China being an allie of Russia it does make the situation of us being dependant on Chinese made LFT's all the more nervey, dangerous, awkward and embarrassing! for the UK goverment to explain and be comfortable with.....come on Boris! Best get that home made supply well and truly confirmed and in place!

On that note Pumpky, I will add. A good and successful Vatic rollout will also represent more than just good financials and improved turnover numbers. It will show the market that ABDX is the real deal and bring back the sentiment
Perhaps partially fairly, but I would say mostly unfairly the market is basically saying ABDX you are a load of rubbish. Massive pandemic and you didn’t bring a product to market or make any real money out of the massive opportunity, you are clearly not very good at what you do.
However, the main truth behind that is our Clients have been rubbish! First the government practically making ABDX (national call to arms and all that) work for them. Great! but they led them down the garden path, ordered them to make a test they later worked out they didn’t want. Made them rush it through, accepted the test and then blamed ABDX for the big mistakes they the government made. Even more insult then also refused to pay for them.
Next Avacta, ABDX made their test to spec so it’s not ABDX fault it didn’t work for Omicron very well.
So two tests were brought to market and on other days would have made everyone lots of money but our clients fooked it up!
One successful test being manufactured in numbers regularly and I think people will see more clearly that the problems before can mostly be put down to bad luck. If ABDX can get one good client with a popular test and make that test in big numbers, then they can do it again in future and this is where future earnings starts getting added back to the SP.

We have a lot of chicks in our Vatic basket at the moment, but I do believe they could provide the big turning point for ABDX.
Vatic themselves are clearly expanding (advertising for management roles etc) they are not a PLC and to date, don’t sell anything i.e. make any money. You therefore presume they are very confident they will start making money soon before taking on a Global Logistic Manager etc. Not to mention, you don’t need someone doing this job (permanent role) unless you have a large amount of product that needs to go places.
We were told there were 600,000 test pre ordered back in the beginning of December. Considering they must have been upfront and told anyone ordering the tests at that time that they will not be available until March earliest, its impressive they got these. How many more have they pre sold in the last 3 months? Now they can say available in a few weeks that must be helping what is clearly a good sales team.
ABDX have been advertising for “a number” of Production Operatives roles for the last 2 months or so. It ties up nicely (in a hopeful way) that Vatic have large pre-orders and regular clients lined up. Get the production personnel in now, trained up and ready to go.
We were told Avacta TT would be done by the end of December. They actually completed it on the 10th Dec. Vatic TT due by the end of March. I think we can start being on high (hopeful) alert in 2 week time.
People need to do what feels right for them but for me, it’s well worth sticking around for at least this Vatic news, it could be a real game changer. I don’t know the numbers, but my guess would be that ABDX made no more than 3 million LFT’s last year (back when this justified a Mcap of £50 million+) so even e.g. 2 million tests ordered would represent a very big deal! for a company with a Mcap as low as ours. The SP will fly!

I don’t know the deal in more high level cases, but in the small claims court, if you win your case. Lost interest on the amount claimed is set at 8%.
ABDX original payment (£5 million ish) was due in Jan last year, now, with the add ons its up to £9million. If it is 8% in all cases then interest will be nearing £1 million. So full claim could now be £10million.
That one payment would represent over 70% of our Mcap. By rights the SP should go up at least 70% as well. Now with the GLP in tatters I exspect we could see most, if not all of that money soon.

But they don't (currently) have an antigen covid test of their own to sell....this of course will change in a few weeks when Vatic test is ready.
Personally I think it's a good move. Better to take at least a bit of the market just by selling kits than nothing at all.
Will it make much difference to the bottom line? Probably not, but the more significant factor is the relationship with a very big LFT firm. This could lead to other collaborations in future.

I've just been reading up a bit more on the 'legal Standing' issue they have.
From my understanding I can say with confidence they have no chance of winning their case that ABDX are involved in.
If its some other firm that is capable of making Antibody tests and felt ABDX was unfairly awarded the goverment contract, then they could take the goverment to court over it. As the GLP was not personally effected by this decision they can not.

Now they either need to represent themselves as a specific organisation e.g. representing firms that want to challenge goverment contracts, an environmental group holding the government account etc, etc, etc. Or drop the case.
They already lost their case about PPE contracts which was much worse than the LFT stuff.
That, with this Standing issue on top gives them no chance in our case.
Hopefully it will be officially dropped soon and then the goverment have no excuse to hold the ABDX payment any longer.

The whole (mostly) market is down due to the Russian problem. The sort of day you don't want your stocks to say any good news as attention is elsewhere and generally negative.

I shouldn't tempt fate but one feels the tide is starting to turn in our favor, at long last!

Market maybe calming a bit and realising companies like ABDX don't have to make covid tests in order to make any money. Lots of types of LFT's out their but also, still a big market in the consumer LFT sales to be had.
News will come soon and even modest numbers e.g one Million test a month means we could turn our entire Mcap into a single years profit!...the SP will fly!

There isn't a good reason but there wasn't a good reason for the SP to go down so much either.
ABDX are priced below the companies asset value so market will correct itself at some point to at least reflect that.

Maybe we are just a retailing the Wondfo test but could turn out a good mood. Big chuck of the market will just want as cheap as possible and will search around the Internet to find it... beating the countries biggest pharmacy on price is a very good start!

I, like all now am licking some bad paper losses but these are only really painful when there is little hope of seeing a reversal of that situation any time soon.
Once again, we have the massive expansion in capacity paid for and ready to go. We just (maybe easy for me to say) need to fill it.
ABDX could go from making a few 100k test a month to over 12million and what would that do to the SP/Mcap of a £14 million company?
Non LFT sales set to grow massively, Covid not going anywhere and bound to contine to cause problems for a few years yet. No longer need to complete with free goverment tests.
I am completely sure this capacity will be filled at some point, it's just how long are you prepared to wait?
With Vatic TT due to be complete with, FAD approval as well this test alone can fill most of that capacity so you might not need to wait very long at all.
And/or, one or two contracts with a big firm could be announced on any day and we all get our losses back plus a lot, lot more! Instantly.
I look at this now like an oil exploration firm that's hit a duster so at an all time low, but we have money in the bank and another fully funded 5 drills on the go. Can't really go down much more but could easily 3/4/5 bag in a week. Its the sort of stock I would put money in to try and recover losses elsewhere.
Keep the faith, give them another month or two, I'm very confident we will see a very different picture.

If you Google 'Sand Hutton jobs' you get the usual many listings from Cubed Resourcing for the 'number' of Production Operatives which are clearly at Abingdon.
What is now interesting is Cubed have clearly outsourced the advertising for these roles to other job sites as well. The positions are now being advertised through BeBee, Torquespeed and Joveo as well. This is Cubed giving up some of their commission to fill those positions quickly.
Now this is either because no one wants the jobs or "the number" of Production Operatives needed is a fairly large number and they are needed quicker than Cubed can manage on their own?
Either this is the greatest smoke and mirrors trick ever or production is being rampped up quickly. Vatic hirering in force as well. Dare we dream of a big contract (not necessarily goverment) with a NDA yet to be announced?

It's now been made very clear that the country must be prepared for new verients which means having ready to go LFT stockpiles available to distribute out quickly.
Great idea so long as all those millions of tests in your big warehouse work against the new verient. If not, that is a very big, expensive and embarrassing mistake!
Step forward Vatic Knownow! To my knowledge the only test maker saying their test is mutation proof. Not just the UK, every goverment in the world will want to stockpile that test....it also has the added benefit of using saliva only and being extremely accurate.
Could be massive for Vatic which would mean very good news for ABDX as their main manufacturer.

If you forget everything you know has happened before. We just heard the Prime Minister say his goverment we ensure the country can ramp up our in country testing quickly in future. The leader of the opposition holding him to account that they will be UK made.
A new consumer market opening up in 5 weeks with a goverment statement saying we are working with suppliers to make sure they can meet the demand.
Here we are, capable of making 150 million of these things and valued at 15 million. In normal times the SP would triple tomorrow.

The statement made that they will ensure the UK has the capability to ramp up testing quickly and Keir Starmer challenging him on having UK manufactured supply. That is as good as we could ask for at this time.
Note Boris statement that the UK has the largest LFT manufacturer in Europe....I think he genuinely might not know that we do, but the tests his goverment buy don't come from them!
