Tide is turning. This is a growing company. Perhaps it was a little too much too soon to start with but dust has now settled, new contracts coming in, issue with the goverment payment soon to be put behind them and a bright future ahead with everything I place to serve a rapidly growing market.
The start of positive news flow starts next week! I'm sure of it.

Where will the SP be this time next month?

I think worse case, GLP win case and Goverment continue or confirm they have no plans to make the payment. Also we get no, or negative news around Vatic sales and EUA. I would guess this would see a SP back to 7p ish? Which would put a takeover on the cards as that would be well, well below asset value.

Or, case concluded with ABDX reputation completely cleared, goverment pay up. Good Vatic sales with maybe EUA also granted should put the SP into at least the 30p range.

Add there could be a completely new contract announced, new Covid veriant discovered or some other suprise RNS that could send it into orbit.

It's each to their own but I think the better scenario is more likely than unlikely. You may either lose (on paper) around 40% of you investment or times it by 2 (200%) a gamble worth taking for me.

The silence from the GLP about the case starting next week speaks louder than words.
Nothing on their website, not a tweet, no mention at all.
This from an organisation that relies on public donations so has always been publicity crazy.
I think they know they will almost certainly lose so are hoping it can go by as unnoticed as possible.

Yep, and it's a bank holiday Monday. Which means one more trading day after today.
There is a statement in one of the RNS saying ABDX are looking forward to the case starting as they can then release more details about the contract with the DHSC. They are obviously confident they have nothing to hide (unlike the goverment) with publicly and attention coming this stocks way. Its bound to be a interesting and hopefully exciting week. Surly some punters out their will take interest but the average Joe will not be aware the case is coming so soon. ABDX SP could finish next week in the 20's. I exspect all main news papers and some news TV stations will cover the case so when the story drops we should start to see lots of action heading this way.

As always, it's each to their own. I personally hold no grudges to whatever anyone else thinks or does. What YOU think is the only thing that matters.
When all is said and done none of us (very much unfortunately) has a magic future SP price ball to look into and just follow that tells us.
For what its worth (I exspect and would advise this being nothing) my opinion is.
Building a successful business takes time and money end of!
This company have been in this business for 14 years (very long time in LFT world..its around the time they were invented!) And have pumped millions into the business that was already worth millions. For me, its a build it and they will come!
Everything is in place bar the confirmed orders but it looks like they are more than heading that way with Vatic on their own and they have the whole market (growing in a very big way) to aim for. Others will follow in time...its all there IMO, in place just takes some patience.

You can’t say that for sure Pumpky. It all completely depends on what covid does next.
If the next variant can evade vaccine/natural immunity and is as, or more deadly than Delta I’m very sure we will quickly go back into lockdowns. Option 2, sit back and watch 100’s of thousands or maybe even millions of people die and your health system brought to its knees…it would not happen. They would have to do something and lockdowns are the most effective thing they can do in that situation.
We might all be done with covid but unfortunately covid is not done with us!
I’m sure many would read what I have written above and think it’s farfetched. The truth is there is a completely equal chance of that happening as there is of the next variant being as mild or milder as Omicron. 50/50! Yet, as its convenient to do so and what everyone wants to believe most see this as 1/99. It’s the ultimate global mob mentality and I fear many chickens have ben counted well before (another 5 or 6 years to go at least) they have hatched.

JB, the UK government made it very clear in their living with Covid plan that they will quickly revert back to mass testing should a new variant occur that warrants it.

Of course I'm not hoping for a new (significant) covid verient but it would be very interesting to see what will happen if we do.
The Chinese are going test crazy at the moment and with a population of 1.4 billion people, some being tested daily that is a lot of lot of tests!
Would they have enough to send the normal 100's of millions over here? I exspect probably not and then the UK goverment would have an amazing amount of explaining to do!

I don’t think there is much point trying to compare the DHSC disputes between ABDX and NCYT.
Both are test suppliers and that’s pretty much where the similarities end. Each case brought to the courts has different people, contracts and circumstances involved so they are therefore correctly dealt with on a case-by-case basis. One outcome has no influence on the next.
I’m not 100% sure but if memory serves, I believe the NCYT dispute started quite a long time after the ABDX dispute began. This meaning the time taken for the DHSC to investigate and reach the discission to take the case to court is a shorter period of time than they have already had with ABDX.
So (hopefully) the fact ABDX have not been told by the DHSC that they will dispute any claim if made (in fact they have already had the opposite with the DHSC agreeing in the mitigation to making a payment) it means the DHSC have no intention of doing this with ABDX.

Not sure if it's because the Market was just having one if its "oh, so Covid maybe still is a thing" days, it's the start of a rise into next week and month in general news rich period, background buyer, general rerate as stupidly undervalued, rumours of new contracts, tests sales or conbinations of all these things, but know don't really care, I will take it!

MM's like two things, large spreads (it's when they make the most profit per trade) and high volume (less profit but more bites).
Without volume they switch it to a large spread.

They have been playing all their set pieces with ABDX, executing large buys in batches (to be fair at times sells as well) and doing all their tricks to keep the SP wherever suits them best. Buys more often than not outdo sells 7/8 days out of 10 yet the SP falls tells you all you need to know.
Bad news, we will probably be stuck in their gasp until the next bit of news. Good news, that should be the week after next!
The GLP case is a big deal. It will almost certainly be picked up by all main media (news papers and TV) and as they say no such thing s bad publicity.
Goverment yes, but it doesn't sound like ABDX have anything to be ashamed of so I think it will mostly turn out to be good publicity for them and hopefully bring in some new investors.
3rd May starts, probably 2 to 4 day hearing with judgment by the end of that week.

Week after next its May and two (minimum) bits of goods news due for ABDX in this month.
Court case put to bed and behind them. A government win or lose (almost certainly a win) should make them pay up very soon after.
Vatic test full roll out to the market. This on a backdrop of rising cases in the US.
Maybe Vatic EUA approval.
Maybe new partnerships announced.
I'm not sure where the SP will be come the end of May but I'm very confident it will be higher than it is today.

Thanks for that Gosie, Indeed very good news if a 600k(ish) order is being filled as we speak. This order alone should surpass the Turnover for the 6 months previous and its just pre-orders for this one test.
Keeping in mind they (Vatic) must have informed those ordering these tests that they would not be ready for delivery until a few month’s time, its impressive they managed to get this many. Now they are in a position to deliver straight away it’s a much easier sell. I therefore expect the orders to continue coming in. in high numbers.
I appreciate your observation while over in the States, but I expect you did not spend time in any care homes, hospitals, special needs schools etc. I’m sure you would have got a very different feel if you did. They will still be, and always be a high demand for testing in these areas and this happens to be the areas that the Vatic test suits best. i.e. someone administering a test on someone else, or people with disabilities been able to test themselves. Its much easier to put a cotton bud in someone’s/your mouth than shuv it up their/your nose.
I said the other day, I can more than understand the general human feel of its all over now, nothing to worry about lets just party. Everyone’s had enough and needs a brake…. But, it hasn’t gone away, hospitals the world over are still struggling, supply chains not running to schedule, etc, etc and the very real threat (50/50 chance) of a new, vaccine evading, more deadly variant is something that can happen at any time.
People’s attitudes will soon change when the true impacted of this constant disruption and death that Covid is still causing is more widely felt and noticed.

None of it really means anything at all as far as ABDX getting paid is concerned.
Used! Need to pay, simple as.
Just need the case over and then there is nothing stopping the goverment paying or ABDX taking them to court to get the money. If the latter the goverment know they have zero chance of winning that case so the threat will be enough for them to finally pay up.

The GLP case is that the government didn’t follow procedure when awarding ABDX the contract. i.e. it was not properly advertised to other firms and ABDX was given State Aid or preferential treatment.
I guess a government win will maybe be the slightly better outcome for ABDX. Only because it means the DHSC will be less embarrassed / angry / in cover up mode so might pay up sooner, but I really don’t think the outcome matters that much. If the government lose it doesn’t change the fact they ordered a company to make some tests for them, the company did it, the test were accepted and used by the government.
Its like going into a restaurant, eating a load of their food and then saying I refuse to pay for it because one of the restaurant suppliers is taking me to court over a sperate matter. Yes, there is a link but the two very different cases. The second has no baring on the fact that I have taken something, consumed it so therefore need to pay some money for it.
The DHSC just want to say in court that we haven’t wasted any money as we haven’t paid any out.
The GLP lost their case over PPE contracts that were much, much worse than this. The judge said maybe the process was not followed properly but understood this was because we were in the middle of a massive pandemic so corners needed to be cut and the outcome would have probably been the same anyway. i.e. the contracts would have still gone to the firms even if other were invited to tender.
As the choice for firms capable of producing new LFT’s is even less I think the same outcome is very likely. Add to this, the GLP has lost their last few cases as they don’t have any legal standing to bring these cases to court anyway (its not them personally that have lost out due to the government maybe cutting corners) I would say its almost guaranteed the government will win…. But as I say, for paying ABDX it doesn’t really matter either way….. used! Need to pay, simple as that.

I don’t know the answer to that one but I’m very confident that day will come and when it does this will fly to over £1 a share.
We are in a period where natural human instinct has kicked in. Everyone is well and truly fed-up with Covid with all economies and governments bank accounts on the brink. Everyone (nearly) has thrown everything at this problem yet its not gone away. The answer is, convince ourselves and others that its no longer a problem and just get on with it.
The problem with that is, Covid doesn’t care what us humans think or about our economies. Thousands of people are still dying of it every day, hospitals are still stretched the world over with patient, vaccine protection is waning, and business are all struggling to cope with the mass absenteeism.
Basically, as much as everyone may want to forget about it, it’s a problem that will not go away so can not be ignored forever.
We probably do all need this little mental break from it all but, sooner or later the harsh reality that Covid is with us forever will need to kick in and something done to keep people out of hospital and able to go to work safely. I think the article I posted early shows the start of the turning of that tide. It’s a matter of time, not If but when!

For me testing always was and always will be the only way to keep everything moving.
Society can not continue on an endless loop of mass absenteeism and new rounds of mass vaccinations forever.
Testing regularly is the only long term solution IMO.....here is the place to be.

Anyway, back to ABDX.
In 17 days it will be May and May is shaping up to be a very big month for this company.
Case involving the goverment contract put behind them, money owed being paid and Vatic test fully rolled out to the market with possible EUA granted.
High chance of all of these things coming good and if they all do the SP should be in the 50p range quite comfortably IMO.... some of the other discussions they are in may also evolve meaning a nice surprise RNS is also on the cards during this time or before.....exciting times ahead.
