"Why this is circa 13p per share is beyond me.."

D1nger, nice post, but in answer to the above, there is some discrepancy between the way public companies especially on Aim right now are being valued by "market forces" and a similar company in the private sector that shows the same progress and makes private deals.
The public valuations of these companies get played and IMO it has become more obvious these days than ever before (all part of the dark forces that drive this non-transaparent system we live in, making it easier for the few to make money and more difficult for the many - hence why I am grateful to genuine posters on the BB's who are sincere in their comments).
So therefore many companies get shorted or the SP gets depressed to nonsensical levels despite the progress being made and sometimes when the culprits get caught on the wrong side of a shorting trade for instance, the SP can over-react to the upside.
However, in the case of MATD, I am still of the opinion that we will continue to see a slow gradual rise in the SP which IMO is more favourable for two reasons, first, it shows we will not go lower again, and secondly, this company has great assets and great management that will take us to a JV or LE to get reflect fair value in our MK (and that tends to be the exception rather than the rule on AIM).
it appears that many high quality AIM stocks are deliberately being shorted or held back from rising through various mechanisms (and we know how transparent those can be, not) and when they get caught out after a classic shorting exercise where the stock is brought down to nonsensical valuations that would never last in the private sector,
