I see a few have yet to put Fundraiser on ignore :-)) Much better to do this then make the sort of comments above which only shows one's own ignorance of the Universal law of balance (colloquially put "what goes round comes round").

So let us not wish Fundraiser anything bad.

Feel for CHAR shareholders (been there) and we certainly do not wish to have that experience on this upcoming major drill.

If we manage to spud early in late October (say around 22nd - 24th) then that would certainly be very positive and encouraging.... just have to wait and see but watching this low SP is very challenging sometimes.

Ontarget, I am of course expecting the well too spud based on what MATD has said but I am just not expecting any re-rate in SP any time soon as Spud alone will not do the trick and it is highly questionable that we complete the drill this side of Christmas. If that turns out to be the case, then having completed just 1 drill and 2 placings in 2018 takes the shine off the stock until we reach Q2 2019.

We have to realise that no amount of Twitter pictures is going to raise the SP and the SP will not move beyond 6p until at least Spud news and even then I don't think we go much beyond 7p/8p.

It will be unfortunate if we end up being delayed to April/May next year before the release of any real news, and so for those who said early in the year that we will only end up completing one drill in 2018, well, it looks as though they could be proven to have been right whilst the rest of us were wrong.

Exactly Proseless thanks (saw your comment after I replied) - so the question remains why no progress reporting on SL buy there is and will be on WH?

They didn't use the term tight hole but said there would be no news until after completion of the drilling and logging. So we were kept in the dark in terms of any progress.

Does anyone know if any specific reason given for announcing Snow Leopard drill as a tight hole (and all of a sudden not necessary for Wild horse)?

Agreed CS, but I make the same point as I wrote to Noloss below - we are still in the same scenario of needing major funding for DFS stage, as no JV partner in absence of road financing news seems willing to invest yet.

Noloss, perhaps I should have worded it differently - yes, it is of benefit but what I meant was that given the continual prolonging of it's release (i.e. PFS), it will not have the desired impact to cause a sustained re-rate in SP if we enter into another convoluted and dilutive financing deal.

A stand-alone PFS seems insufficient to get a JV partner on board in the absence of road funding news and so RY buys himself time by delaying PFS and turning attention to a DFS which could take us into 2019/20 before any major re-rate.

The share price performance has been so disappointing (to put it mildly).

RedLee alluded to the idea that AMC could likely enter into a similar financing arrangement like the one with Riverfort and their ilk in order to continue as a going concern. Sadly, that would also mean a similarly disappointing SP evolution during 2019.

Whilst we could get a strong rally in the SP upon receiving the long-awaited, overdue, late stage PFS (seems like a never ending story), it's of no real benefit to long-term suffering holders.

There is a long way to go before eventual DFS which now appears the key to getting a strategic partner on board and road funding news.

Any multi-bagging is still a long way off.

Couldn't disagree more.....PI's have had too much of a numbing experience with placings that they fail or have forgotten to see that rights issues are indeed more just and fair (by avoiding PI's being constantly diluted).

I feel for the shareholders here (been there myself) but assuming the rights issue is mostly taken up, it's a good sign for SP recovery over coming months in anticipation of Feb 2019 spud. GL!

So WH is definitely being spudded in 2018 and there will be no tight hole this time round!

It's difficult to assess how much news we get this side of Christmas, as the drill has been delayed a little. Nevertheless, it's good to know we can drill at zero temperatures in November/December months and so let's see how that pans out.

Even with a stoppage, one can feel more comfortable holding the shares in anticipation of MATD completing the big drill and releasing results early April/May 2019.

In terms of SP expectations, IMO there is still plenty time to get in here over coming weeks at 6p-8p range leading up to spud.

Well, to be honest, it is true that MATD has already deferred one set of drilling in Block XX but the notice was at least given to us well in advance. If they do defer WH as well and inform us at this late stage when clearly we are expecting an announcement on spudding the well, then that would be....well, to put it mildly, quite a u-turn.

But anyway, I have dropped the company an email on this subject and will let all know if I get a reply.

Again, as is always the case with wildcat drilling, the % chance of failure is greater than success BUT based on what little we know, I am really hoping that Wild Horse will turn out to be a Dark Horse for MATD :-))

Assuming we drill THIS year and not next, and we get the oil shows, there's no reason why we can't get 20-24p by the end of 2018.
