So assuming up to to 1-2 weeks to transport rig and another few weeks to stack up the rig, then we are looking at potentially getting ready to spud by mid to end October and the drilling could take about 5-6 weeks say (under 2000m TD cf to 3,350m TD for SL at 72 days or so).

So if the rig leaves (worst case) by end of Sep, we are cutting it mighty fine.

Just wanted to ask if anyone could clarify the distance for the rig to be transferred from SH to WH.

Per 25.6.18 RNS it said 300 km "Immediately following the drilling of Snow Leopard-1, the rig will be moved circa 300 kilometres West to the Wild Horse-1 well location in Block IV."

And today's RNS refers to 450km.

From where did the extra 150 Km all of a sudden materialise?

Interesting they chose to release the RNS on the morning of the AGM - they must have known the result for some time. SL is done and dusted. Let's hope the pain of continuing to hold through a depressed SP is short-lived by diverting our attention on this next imminent drill at WH prospect - thankfully the drill period will be a short one. Let's hope this one will hit oil big time.

I suspect even tomorrow they will only repeat what was RNS'ed i.e. only to release news after drilling and logging is over. So personally I am now expecting news next week.

Market mechanics have changed, less volatility to take advantage of and major trend moves happen less frequently and tend to be shorter lived. It just is what it is and we have to adapt to it.

Furthermore it's become more obvious these days that markets get manipulated and have become less transparent contrary to the brainwashing by mainstream media. It just makes this game more difficult for most PI's.

If we get good results on SL drill, then we will re-rate quickly but not as high as people expect with pie in the sky SP predictions.

Great reminder re possible reasons for deferring Block XX and further into the interview (at 12:15) MB also mentioned "..that most of the people looking at a new country entry in Mongolia will be looking at IV and V potential, not so much the new field lower risk stuff that excites us because we're already committed to Mongolia.."

Anyway Proselenes, let's hope your speculative observation turns out correct in which case 13p-14p here we come.

Correction re RNS year 14.05.2017 (not 2018)

Something I dug out from an old RNS of 14.05.2018 which showed that even in the absence of a formal JV, prospective farm-in partners can have a say in the order of drilling (which could explain, as already alluded to, why Block XX drill was deferred, who knows. Let's hope SL showed up something of interest at least.

"These potential partners have expressed a preference to participate in a multi well drilling program next year and to provide input into target selection and the order of drilling".

...has certainly not been our friend over the last several months in terms of SP declining. The technicals do not look great to me and so does note bode well based on this alone.

The AGM will be a formality to pass basic resolutions only and so whether they release SL news pre or post AGM does not really matter.

It was also planned to drill Block XX this year which has been changed (postponed to next).

Usually (not saying will happen) the longer the wait, it ends in some disappointment. Anything can happen but still expecting a much higher share price by y/e once they clarify status re SL and WH drills.

This is getting very tight now...tight hole indeed :-))

I really do think there are far more who regret being here much too soon.

Nothing to get excited about - he referred to SL 1 in the Spud RNS as well. So I wouldn't read anything into that.

Guys, they could well have issued the half year report well before the end of Aug and so the fact it has been released today on 7 Sep is a good sign for me because if SL had been a duster, they by now they would have been obliged to report it in the post balance sheet events part of the report.

SL find may not be as big as estimated but a find nevertheless and the onto the really big one at WH.

Nervousness for some, excitement for others. Not easy, I know. It is what it is.

IMO Let's not be fooled into selling our shares cheaply, if anything add at these prices.

My prediction: Post SL results we are at 10p-11p+

...these days is nowhere near what it used to be. The share prices are generally more 'stable' i.e. more difficult environment for day traders IMO. So when the re-rate starts for MATD, it could last longer than people expect. I don't think we get a spike per sai but more of a gradual upward trending share price to re-base it's Market Cap. As always time will tell.

They've not only kept a lid on the news but the share price also - look on their website and the share price is not being shown (showing as 0p). Hmm... this wait is killing me :-)) Come on MATD put some of us out of our misery!!

...is becoming a little more prevalent now given the absence of any sort of news. They have announced an AGM and to release an RNS just before then that says SL had less oil than anticipated or was not commercial quality, and then only discuss at AGM upcoming further drills would certainly disappoint the market and SP takes a nose dive.

Getting trickier by the day but I suppose we hang in and just hope that MATD will be a winner and any operational update on SL simultaneously reiterates WH and Block XX will be drilled this year as indicated.

Says...AEX in process of getting shareholder support for Farm in deal which banks their interest in that project and for SOLO has some value see through for 25% interest and will support key decisions going through with that project.....as drill well + seismic next year.. expect update from AEX in COMING WEEKS.
