Hello all, I couldn't access the website yesterday, looks as though others had the same issue. Anyway, I took the opportunity to add more here at 9.3p as it is such a pivotal SP point. If we go lower (which I doubt), I am quite happy and ready to buy more, as at some point this year the SP is breaking that 13p stranglehold.

We have cleared 52m shares over seven days since the placing and once placing volume gone and new shares issued, the SP should finally enter that upward trajectory never to look back at single digits again - all IMO. GLA!

If RY had been a high ranking manager/director of an international company and broke so many deadlines and gave few updates on so many major issues (remember Jinchuan MOU, what's the status there), he would have been dismissed by now. Now the resource is proven, it is the government and major industry players that will decide when this project gets developed. At this rate, it could be another year before we ever see double digit SP again.

Schach, pre-spud rise killed off, perhaps, in the absence of unexpected news but surely you can change your strategy to continue holding shares throughout pre-spud to accommodate the upcoming extensive drilling period? Do you honestly believe by end of August we will still be below 12-13p area? (This is not the same as AMC scenario). Btw, ECHO released an RNS today and see the effect that had on the SP- onwards and upwards :-))

Hi Schach, I too dislike the second placing and you might be right, we could be stuck at around placing price as any rise gets sold into but we would be underavlued should we strike. As a comparsion, the same could have been said of ECHO which similarly did a (second) placing on 25 May at 12p (to raise GBP 8.5m) and the SP did indeed drop below the placing price to 11.3p (about 6%) but then having cleared the placing volume, the SP began it;s upward trajectory (currently 12.35p) in the midst of RNS releases (and I see it going higher in anticipation of further drill results, you may wish to check it out). Anyway, I see something similar happening with MATD but could of course be wrong. Time will tell.

Mr P, agreed, there were different factors but here I just can not see a farm-in being agreed as great as that would be. A good volume day today and we are clearing about the same number of shares as on the previous placement. About another 13 days to go before clearing the full 130m.

I wouldn't hold your breath for farm in at this stage. BPC had "interest" for years and to this day have not closed a deal. We need to strike oil, period.

"Yes speculation but there is only so much he can say within rules & guidelines" ---- Yes , but he can say quite a lot to a select few but not to us - hence the uneven playing field and why PI's are left diluted time and again as most do not always have available cash to pick up more shares on the inevitable fall in SP. Anyway, no quick re-rate here but I am expecting the SP to get back above 12p by mid July.

We finally hit the 10p placing price and I am a buyer at these levels (at a 50% retracement level which is a very strong Fib support). The re-rate is taking longer. II's run the show in fund raises as CEO's usually going along with them. A rights issue could have been done instead (remember those, all sorts of excuses being given these days for not undertaking them whilst in the past they were more common, just making it ever more difficult for the PI to play this game). Anyway, I see 20p minimum by year-end. GLA!

A legend in this business is Anton Kreil says he uses 80% fundamental analysis and 20% technical analysis. We know the fundamentals here and so looking at the TA the question is when do we break out of this trading range (10.6p to 13.6p)? IMO this ABCDE correction wave has extended into a classic "open triangle" correction pattern and that for me gives added comfort we are headed up from here and I am calling for the SP to break the 13p area at beginning of July. So a few more weeks to wait. Hang in there people.

One the face of it, the recent dilution was a kick in the shins for PI's but time will tell whether that was a master stroke or not (getting extra funds not needed imminently). The jury is out on that one..JV partner to come on board...hmm... probably not but we will find out soon enough. Current SP presents further buying opportunity at this stage of the game, as the 10p placement price is at the 50% retrace level from the high of 13.8p (and just above 200MA). I am sure there will be opportunity to top slice from here over next 6 months. GLA!

IMO we should have reached the bottom of the current wave downwards from the high of 46.9p and if so, then the next wave up should take us to around 55p area where there is very strong resistance (and special news will be required to break that). GLA!

..mainly higher drilling costs for the 2 new 2019 wells identified during farm-in talks. Fox Prospect: " The well will be drilled to a total depth of c.4,000 metres, at an estimated cost of US$9 million. The well cost is higher than other prospects owing to its depth." Red Deer: "It is anticipated that the well will be drilled to a total depth of c.2,100 metres, at an estimated cost of US$2.9 million" And we still have plenty cash left over to stay aggresive in the remaining on-going farm-in negotiations. Actually this placing just might turn out to be another master stroke like the last one which did not take long to clear. Yes, a few weeks more delay perhaps re SP performance but the show is finally on the road!

I like this: "As there are still a number of interested parties, the Company does not rule out bringing in a farminee, if on favourable terms, prior to the commencement of drilling in July 2018."

Well, I would have preferred they allowed the SP to first break that 13p area on confirmation that we are drilling and then do a placing at a higher price. Instead we get another placing along with the confirmation of our first drill (and Sinopec's cooperation is confirmed) and so will be interesting to see the games that get played with the SP over next few days. This year will lay the foundation for MB's reputation and how well he manages the drilling programmes - so far, so good. MATD have a full 12 month programme locked in (targeting 850 MMbo which is humongous like the size of Mongolia itself) and IMO this will allow the SP to increase slowly but surely (Mr P take note - no spikes this year). 20p-25p by year end!

On second thoughts it may not be as bad as it sounds - last placing at 6.5p and we doubled and now at 10p and 2 more drills and we double from here?

SBB1 is spot on with his observation of the current trend and IMO this is the last wave upwards that will break that 13p area. If not, so be it but certainly everything at this stage is pointing to that happening - both from the POV of fundamentals and technicals and combine that with my current my vision that we break 13p upon release of the next operational update, we can't go wrong here ;-))

We closed above 13p for the first time this year on 13th March and we tried to break it on two occasions since and now we are trying for the 3rd time. Well, the number 13 is lucky for some and third time's the charm (Nikola Tesla said the whole of the universe can be explained in terms of the number 3 or numbers divisible by 3 and Einstein considered him the most intelligent man on the planet). So do we break 13p tomorrow ....the stars are aligning .... GLA :-))
