Yeah, I'm relaxed....waiting for the seller to finally finish (be it Acacia or whoever..Acacia bought many stock holdings from Woodford at low, pre-agreed prices only to then flip those same shares at over ten times the price paid!!...talk about insider trading...funny how the the laws against this don't get applied unless one of us did that (they're all in it together including the 'regulators' and we we ain't in their club).......anyhow, assuming nothing further is engineered here with negative surprises (I'm not expecting any), we should double up. GLA.

The Market already knows this. Given everything we know, we have yet to rerate. The question remains then why are we still hovering around the placement price of 11p per share more than 2 months later.

Why? What's the catalyst? The merger has been known about and of course it's going to be passed + another low volume day (so far 1.8m) and you expect big rise...hmm. We need unexpected news now to re-rate.

Starchild......if anything we need 'less' or proper regulation (as more regulation in practice has tended to translate into ever more restrictions on PI's and ever more privacy and discretion for companies to continue doing things at the expense of the many PIs - and the worst part is that it's all made legal- hence why this game of trading/investing is so difficult unless we can gain insights from the professional traders).

If you are genuine and sincere, then we need to ask for more transparency and greater communications from companies to help bring about a more even playing field which sadly ain't gonna happen, as it's the nature of the beast (i.e. the market place and those who control it).

It's all good and well being positive but one has to be realistically positive taking into account the downside risk as well the upside and right now too many unknowns here and the fact that BPC want to pass a resolution to increase authorised share capital from 5b to 10b is a concern in the absence of further information (we're currently at 2.5b and post merger nearer 3.5b). Do we get classic farm-in with sale of interest in one asset (P1 well) in return for carry over, or does BPC sell a part of the whole company encompassing all the assets...?

Now that we (finally) have higher average daily volumes (cca 11m), the technicals make more sense to look at...the daily RSI stayed above 60, always a good sign with RSI remaining in uptrend. GLA.

If we do a farm-in pre drill for say 50% and get diluted accordingly having many more billions of shares in issue, do you still expect 8p-10p per share? No, I didn't think so.

...about this BB these days is that we have far fewer posts than the number of share trades.

...about the technicals, is that the RSI is an uptrend.

Hopefully a good sign and hopefully the SP is now in a solid up trend until further RNS's re binding off-takes etc.

Apologies but you are deluding yourself if you think a major decides "lets do a country entry in Mongolia" out of the blue - they strategise years ahead and go for monster developments but to date MATD discovered cca 35mbo recoverable - the discovery is immaterial for the likes of Shell and their ilk.

Notwithstanding the appointment of Envoi (doesn't mean to say they must find a classic farm-in partner - as I pointed out their rate of success has not been great last few years) - I think it more likely that MATD find a combination of alternative forms of financing (drilling contractor loan, bonds, bank loans, convertible loans, placings etc) and it will depend on the package raised if it will lead to a re-rate of our Mcap.

PC are the obvious choice as the only major player in the region but how much oil does MATD need to find first (MATD's exploratory drills were not commercially successful).

As others pointed out, great article but for me what is even greater is:

- SP has not dropped below the 11p level (and IMO unlikely to go much lower if at all from current 11.65p).

- since placing announcement we have "worked through" the total placing volume of cca 100m shares and the best bit is that it was mostly Acacia offloading?

So the SP trend from here is a one way street.

OK I know it's not AIM, it's on the main market but it is a small cap stock and has not performed - and don't you just get tired of non-performing stocks on AIM or otherwise.

Hi Tanzania, things are a bit slow with many AIM stocks that raise financing or expect to raise (due to the dilutive nature of the financing arrnagements) and so we need some major catalysts over the summer to move the SP, otherwise no point being invested for ever. LT holdings don't really work.

Ojay, the SP has been difficult to predict...I think I may have under-estimated the length of time to formalise the EL......surely you're not happy with the slow drift back to 3p levels...

As for JV partner, this could take ages (just hope they don't secure partial financing in form of convertible loans due to the dilutive nature).

The more hope CF gives, the worst the SP performs....this will be another wait and (let's) see AIM story.

Interesting find...Envoi have many ongoing projects but their rate of closure doesn't look great...there was none in 2019, just one in 2018 and one in 2017.

Well, maybe, the unliked poster (CS) was right after all....if MATD have employed an agency to find a partner, it does seem unlikely they close a deal with Petro China, as Heron discovery is perhaps too small for them after all.

SP has been poor based on non-existent volumes....We need an official confirmation of EL to at least get us back up at 4p.

Our current Mcap is already aligned with the free-carry value ($35m) and the farm-out completion is expected and so priced in.

What SP re-rate are people expecting here?

I personally can't see it going much above 1p but hopefully SP (finally) stays above 1p until further concrete news flow.
