RY seems to be saying a lot but in reality it's very little.

I feel he's not giving us the true picture and so is AMC just 'buying for time' due to no concrete road financing commitment (which to me is still the elephant in the room).

I could be completely wrong but this doesn't feel like we're close to a sale or development financing and unknown 3rd party who bought 70m shares at 1.7p could have sold as the SP doubled?

IMO this could be a very long road yet, hence the languishing SP.

Trellis, you might be the one who enjoys a little (too much) wine but you're also the one who has written the most sense today when saying you will vote against the 'scheme'...apologies, I mean 'deal'.

The bottom line is that PI's have been shafted and those who think 'oh well, it could be worse', yes indeed but we are talking about an orchestrated effort to transfer the asset/resource to a 3rd party from right under our noses at knock down prices.

Voting it down (as a PI) the deal will go through anyway but at least it gives a signal to the "gang" involved that there are awakened Pi's who realise the system is rigged.

(As a PI, we either learn to trade stocks in a rigged system or learn to control our emotions when LT investing doesn't work out).

Nov/Dec has traditionally been a period with a significant move in SP.

With the expectant presentation next week (more important than the subsequent AGM) to inform markets of their production funding plans for Heron-1 + WP for 2020, should help push the SP north of here.

SOU owned a large portfolio and following successes at TE-6 and TE-7 (plus TE-5 horst), they were the dog's *******s with the potential to develop these resources and enhance shareholder value....but instead....it ends up as a mere investment vehicle with a small % (to be reduced further to 14% and who knows after that) in it's own lucrative assets.

Figuring out how to shaft PI's seems to be the "modus operandi" of many companies that make discoveries.

Feel sorry for those that put away shares in ISA's for the longer-term.

(Whatever the Government encourages these days, should be a warning sign to the masses to do the opposite).

... to see that James' response (when posted on here) is for a change NOT receiving huge upticks by PI's.

The deal has been done to serve the private buyer NOT the private investor (it is what it is). It was in the making for a while.

For those that hang in there for a further extended period of time may get to reduce any paper loss but it will be a far cry from the previous share price (SP) levels - just look at the SP chart over the last few years during all the empty promises and flashy events and, if you were in any doubts back then, you will now understand why our dear James' trading plan was set up last year the way it was..

... is that too often AIM company's with lucrative assets end up selling at massive discounts to 3rd parties (with hidden identities) and PI's (and especially those who haven't yet learned how to trade in this environment) end up with sweet FA.

Non-transparency seems to be the norm for the masses and yet the hidden powers that rule want us to completely give up our own rights to privacy - I think we've all been had from right under our noses.

As far as making money on AIM and generally, I have learned my lessons the hard way and am grateful for that.

Luck alone will not be enough to make money in a corrupt system (as our options become fewer).

We need more honest, genuine posters so we help each other - let's become the change we wish to see.

Hmmm...not sure what to think of this. Riverfort OUT is good news but in the absence of further news we can only speculate and as some mentioned giving away 10% of the stock at 1.7p and not naming the party is just unbelievable...

The only thing that is clear is that PI's continue to be diluted with now over 835m shares in issue and Riverfort able to sell into any rise.

Wow! I just tuned in to the great news - 821 bopd and no need for fracking!!! WTF - who was expecting that? There was talk of 200bopd, 300 bopd on this BB. Glad I subsequently filtered quite a few posters on here. Captain Stanley, thanks for your confident boosting posts during these 'rough times' but based on solid arguments. Well done to all genuine investors/LTH!

Even nicer thought is that Heron testing proves a gusher and 'extra spend' allocated to get product to market :-)

So disappointing by MATD - yet again. The MM's played a blinder a few days ago with that rise from 4.2p to 5.2p. It is what it is.

..for the SP to go even lower.

Sorry folks, I too used to be in love with this stock one time but not anymore. The mechanisms of the market have changed and this "under-valued" stock is under-valued for a reason and will continue to be so - no liquidity here (and dilutive type financing can easily continue for next 12 months, as that is more of a sure bet than the SP re-rating).

Captain S, your positivity is infectious but not the way Mr P used to ramp this share - yours is based on good risk/reward trade off at this point. I know you've been here a while and the best of luck to you and other LTHs.

Whimax, I'm just as disappointed here as you are but I will not fall in love with a stock, and so therefore try to hare views on predictions of perhaps this could go lower (and find a possible buying opportunity) as opposed to typical PI sentiment stating this is under-valued, 'will rise next week' type posts. We had enough of those over the last several months.

Hate to say it, but in the continuing absence of any major news and possible seller CPI to put pressure on a sustained rise, I honestly will not be surprised to see us test 5p and at the very least to still be in single digits by year-end. Anyone else think this or I am a Lone Ranger here?

Correction.."first drill (finally) planned for H1 2020"

Both have same MCap - BPC offer far more potential with literally billions of barrels on offer with first drill (finally) planned for H1 2019 but also greater risk of delays. MATD is small by comparison but in this case small is beautiful, as we have a greater chance that our SP will more than double by month end ;-))

That's my bet anyway.

Hi Interestking, good points re 'collusions'. In fact, contrary to what most people believe, the whole world is ultimately run that way. There's never a result without a cause and so good to know the real causes of events (and not be programmed by what the mainstream media put out there).

Good luck with your trading and hopefully more genuine investors can also help the less informed.
