No, JB is simply fed up being taken for a ride by the BOD who have been poor in communicating their strategies and timelines, ..whether deliberate or otherwise.

The appointment of this non-exec (who could become exec) is positive but if people think he has not been filled in behind the scenes but just took a leap of faith to invest over a hundred grand be being kept in the dark, need to question their own naivety..

So it's a nice bit of news that gives hope that the AMC ship will stay afloat but to get a sustained re-rate in SP we need real news flow and non-dilutive financing arrangements to finance the next stage of this project....

TDY, you are right I have made mistakes in my post when I said no DFS, should have said no updated DFS (since all those years ago), no road financing, OKshould have said they are eligible to apply for state financing but clearly won't get it in the absence of proper backing from major partner etc

There have been two stories running concurrently it seems - the 'false' one where the outside world (i.e. PI base) is left guessing as to what happens next and the 'actual' one for those inside (like Jinchuan, IG copper, and others that control the market Norilsk).

So unless you've shorted AMC over the last several years, this has turned out a disaster for most PI.

TDT, you can defend AMC all you like but the SP has been in a downward trend for several years and for good reasons - you work out why.

If the company sells the resource, it will only get a fraction of the NPV of the project which means PI's will have mostly lost out.

We are none the wiser with AMC as to their strategy, hence the guesswork by some here...deliberate or otherwise, this has not served PI's well (but only the financiers to date).

eligible does not mean it has formalised an agreement for the state to start financing the building... it is one of many uncertainties that have lead to a depressed SP. GL.

Apologies, just checked back re DFS and you're right, I overlooked this given my disappointments with this company and it's SP evolution. so they have to update existing DFS as they have been doing with the PFS. It just seems like a never ending story.

The road financing point still stands - no concrete agreements with AMC concerning that.

Yes, LTH can average down and keep holding on but haven't made any money here unless traded.

I few posts trying to second guess the company's strategy - I think in terms of communicating you are doing a better job than RY on this front :))

Even if they work on an exit...the project NPV bears no relevance to the buyer in the absence of road approvals and financing (e.g. public private partnership deal), DFS not even started etc.

(It's like selling a great plot of land to build a luxury house - we have zoning permit, but no access routes yet, no legal planning and building permits. The sales value is a fraction of the final house value).

Whilst there might be upside from today's SP, granted, but for LTH's in the bigger scheme of things and with higher averages than 1.78p, it's been a poor show.

For those getting in now, AMC is worth a punt.

Speedy, I'm just tired of PI (myself included) of being taken for a ride. We're here to make money and so need to learn to invest in stocks in such way that we understand the non-transparency of companies and markets...the only thing that is transparent is the SP movement and most PI seem oblivious to that one particular indicator..whilst living in hope...have done that myseld many a time and no more. GL here...

Too many PI's focus on the NI price - over the last couple of years compare the trend in NI price with the SP here, there's no correlation.

So the real wider story has to be that the key market players such as Norilsk and Jinchuan have not been interested yet to JV or buy us out.

They know what is going in the market place, we have the resource but we can't get the road financing yet and neither the project financing. So games get played at our expense whilst AMC work on DFS for as long as needed (just like they did with PFS) until the real powers give us a nod that now is the time.

So IMO the SP will remain depressed at least until March next year when we have to revisit our financing arrangements to keep the lights on.

The SP says no news...for now.

He's not dreaming, that's certainly how it looks - the SP is headed downwards - next stop around 8p followed by 7p - we can hope for news but no one has any idea whether it will be released this week or next month. It is what it is. I jumped in a bit too soon but will hang in for now...
