Actually, no, this is the last thing PI's need, as it will only take away the few options left to make any serious money . The answer is ideally "greater transparency" for all concerned not just the few (but we know that's unlikely because it makes sense).

IMO better to learn to adapt to changing market mechanisms.

PI's need to wise up and learn to transact like the professional traders (I would refer you to Anton Kreil who has given genuine information on the workings of the market).

It's not Tom W that caused a drop in SP. It's pretty obvious the state of the market for raising financing.

The fact that BPC arranged a convertible loan for half the money needed says quite a bit. A placing looks like the easiest solution to raise the rest but also a farm in could be closer than ever before (over the last few years) as half the money has already been put up by BPC...this really could be the real deal to finally do a drill.

Jim, your idea of a rights issue is common sense and it would benefit PI's as well - now you know they won't do that because we do live in a nonsensical world - always justifications given of one kind or another for not being able to do what common sense wisdom dictates.

Thankfully I can now trawl through fewer posts - all thanks to my having filtered only one person (who shall remain nameless as he has bitten the dust(er)).

Sounds more hopeful than realistic - no volumes, RSI very low, still big seller (CPI) around etc and so for now will NOT be surprised to still be in single digits over next few months.

And as for the 'magical' news flow that will double MCap instantly, well, we know how expectant news can be delayed (for so many different reasons). So IMO a much longer wait to double digits ...Let's see but GL.

I see much speculation recently and so will throw in my two pennies' worth (as I held over 1m shares in the past but became disillusioned with the lack of strategy and poor transparency).

Some points:

- Bowens appointed as non-exec and buys 7m shares at 2p - he built up his last company over approx. 10 year period before selling at USD 200m. So he is a LT holder...and most likely will be made board member here to build up MC.
- Recent RNS said we work on TEO and so I suspect that's what will happen...and so more paperwork (to keep LTH's hanging in as AMC are good at that).
- Not sure how much left to draw down under Riverfort but that will keep company going BEYOND the 12 month anniversary of first advance in March 2019 to (finally) produce a Reserves statement + work on TEO. So perhaps no large deal will be necessary come March 2020 but if it is, then probably more of the same dilution.

I believe matters have been out of RY's hands for a while as it doesn't suit the real powers (Norilsk and Jinchuan) to get involved yet.

So we have no choice but to 'bide' our time...so therefore I don't suspect derisory offers nor JV yet and so IMO we'll get (un)fortunately more of the same going into 2020.

This stock has become illiquid with another background seller offloading - I just can't see the SP doing much over coming months even with update on Chinese payment...not looking great after the long wait since end of May.

Definitely not, I wold rather have a rising MC and take advantage of that to sell shares at a profit....otherwise some serious brainwashing has made PI's think it's great to be in a low Mcap and still not make money but hold for ever and hope that one day "this time next year we'll be millionaires" (Only Fools think this)

Yes, as always so much potential with AMC BUT so little proven in terms of SP and MkCap performance.

Isn't this why we invest as PI's to make money, or are we here just for a great saga (If the latter, you'd been better off watching a soap opera).

The fact that AMC is not among the agreements signed (otherwise they would have had to RNS it?) indicates nothing material is likely to happen here for a while yet - except for a continuation of dilutive financing arrangements...and then another long anticipation for the next economic Forum?

There is a lack of transparency with so many small caps on AIM and the main market which means most PI's always end up averaging down and not making any serious money but losing it. Tough game...

Even with update re China payment, any effect on SP will be short lived due to CPI sell down which will keep SP in low range for quite some weeks IMO.

You can't take that update at face value.....according to 4.9.19 RNS re CPI disposing shares , the company was notified 19.8 and yet realised RNS several weeks later!! Why?

That's the problem...the share has already been cheap for the last several months. We need a re-rate and unfortunately another background seller is there to make sure we don't get it yet...

AGM is just a formality, will have no little/effect on SP (sadly). So the wait continues now for a SP re-rate...

The RNS's didn't do the trick to re-rate SP. Looks like we are stuck in this low range around 7p-8p levels (orchestrated or otherwise).

Further great news of course (may it continue) but clearly there is another seller in the market that will keep SP in single digits......annoying but that's the game.

Ironically that's the 'best' post on here I've read in a while...

That's the system (market) we're in - there's plenty of pretence...the pretence of transparency (but in reality can often be a different story being played out in the background, AMC is a case in point), and then we have the directors 'duty of care' rule (again, something which public directors don't aways comply with and are rarely held accountable when it's at the expense of the masses).

It is what it is...

Ref 'games' played at our expense - interesting how CPI just conveniently sold before this major RNS update to kick of meaningful news flow.

I bought into NFX expecting news flow with such a dynamic company and yet contrary to what most expected, we went months without any major updates ...that's a long time to be in the absence of news, especially given the games that get played at our expense.

So finally a key bit of news and hopefully this will be the start of more to come soon (not in a few months but over coming weeks). GL.

Good news any time a big name like this joins a company - shows real progress being made wrt their programmes...offers a bit of a respite for the SP. Onwards and upwards now....finally.
