RE: Gap up on Monday26 Mar 2022 19:49
Last week the price went up just over 60p before dropping back below that.
Last week it dropped Monday through to late on Wednesday, 90% of the rise was on Thursday and Friday. The same could easily happen next week, who knows!
Bearing in mind the higher it goes the lower a percentage the dividend is, and the higher the risk, so the higher it goes without an RNS to advise the dividend will still be paid, the less people will be willing to risk it, so 300p or 400p is out of the question I think. If we are lucky, by Friday it will reach 240p, but could easily be hampered by profit taking by those that want to cash in instead of carry on with the risk, plus possible shorting and people not buying because they are being risk averse.
Also, we have no idea what news will come from Russia/Ukraine in the next 36 hours and onward through the week, so guessing the share price correctly is about as likely as predicting the winning Euromillions numbers.
I only have 2000 shares so am holding onto them, but it's only a tiny amount of my portfolio so I take the risk, but I am not everyone.
