In my experience its even harder to predict one share going down and another rising....even the active fund mgrs mostly don't do this long term.. Maybe guilts bonds and index etfs.. so as one vid said, buy the haystack dont look for the needle.

.. In my dreams, isa with RISING dive shares, in my dealing, RISING PRICE shares... Ill stay with glaxo haleon aviva lgen vod and three little ones for multibag or not.

If you give reasoned argument Ill be attentive, as I want ... buy and forget blue chips and diaggio should be one if it stopped consistently falling !. don't want the huge share movements of the small ones ... caspian 18 pc today. and easier to make £££ on rising trend blue chips as r royce.

Just looking for 1 risk/multibagger ggp and some dive buy and forget fund/miners gold copper nickel uranium for pension

I had hoped ggp would start as multibagger and move to producer divi.. its been a while now ! thought the recent dramatic rise was the start ! Fed up of whats called pension investment more like pick a needle in a haystack.

ok, ... .. do you look for certain shares in the particular fund..?? I do.. msoft adobe amazon are in most of them, sometimes tesla and I like that, and taiwan semiconducters though what happens if the americaans blow it up as they are threatening to do if china posticulates.

bed and isa.... you will pay capital gains up to the point you sell in dealing account, you will pay tax to rebuy (0.5 percent)

The profit IS ONLY shielded from capital gain ONCE BOUGHT INSIDE the isa.... remember if you get a loss instead you cant claim it like you can in ealing account as offset against other profits

I dent understand why this is so popular

You will pay capital gains on the total gain to date selling from a dealing account less annual allowanc IF you are eligible.

Then you will pay selling costs and lose the spread in the selling price.

Then to rebuy in the isa you will pay the buying spread and if the price has moved against you lose money.

Its just possible that a platform will reduce dealing charges, but say with II this is £3.99 any amount.

You will also have to pay .5 percent tax to rebuy a ftsie stock.

Have I got this right?

There are uk stocks that may multibag, but all carry more risk than the big cos imo, as ggp aau caspian sunrise.

At this moment imo best uk picks are r royce and vod (9.77pc divi) Hopefully in the future r ryce will have divi.

For me, mainly uk divi stocks yield 8pc, rroyce a couple of risky aim possible multibaggers, and researching funds for exposure to nmsoft tesla taiwan semi etc so interested in why your pick is vwrl

How do I confirm the return of capital return special dividend was made from the capital contribution reserves account of the Company. I know there were two accounts from a post ages ago and know it was made from the "correct" account, but need in writing.
