Hard to beat vod divi while you wait.

I have a few funds and accept the lower returns due to charges to increase my diversity. The income shares return more in divs and capital growth (or not) is similar.

When you think about using a pension pot with drawdown to produce reliable income for decades maybe the loss of bit of profit is worth the diversity.

And.. if single shares is aviva/lgen etc best, or others with lower divi but history of inreasing divi.

(For mid term my opinion is likes of lgen aviva better due to a hopeful re rate sometime)

Thanku smart... the risk isn't an issue I only have 2 aim shares like this..but u have to have big upside to compensate.. Have aau board got lifechanging amounts of their own shares?

Its scary when u look at the high divi/blue chips gently making money while the blue sky incredible story aim ones don't perform. Ill hold both these for the moment and thx for polite reply.

to be honest I don't really understand this share anymore, especially the risk reward going forward.

Most of my portfolio is now blue chip high div, so im happy to have a big risk big reward one, It would be super useful if ud give overview and ur xtal ball view. If I cant understand this one Ill bail.. .. can it achieve previous highs????????????? There is another high risk high reward 4 bagger ive got my eye on as replacement.

New, please reply with your research, down another .5pc now, i cant see the reasons for this not to continue its descending chart to next support. .. i want to invest in companies with known brands and barriers to entry, so will listen attentively to your reasoning

I've so far invested in high divi shares, lgen aviva etc, im beginning to think the cos who can use their free cash may be better bets, and r royce is my first.

Why bother to catch a share on a sinking price as diaggio when the likes of rr are already on rising trend.

If a small divi is introduced that would make me very happy, and no reason why this shouldn't happen.

Old.. same here, got out of most aim stocks with losses, into aviva lgen rroyce vod uk wind.

It does seem as though the high div stocks dont move like the growth, american, and ai stocks.

Next decision, sell single stocks as aviva and replace with fund doing same job

What is difference ggp stability expectation risk when it was 14p rising, and now 7p rising.

ggp does seem different to many other aim cos notably newsflow n rnsss.

years ago we wondered if ry would take amc to production or try to sell it, many posters referred to his age and thought he may be looking forward to retirement. What are your views on the likelihood of ry doing a deal after suspension. Or perhaps using suspension to get another 6 months salary.(no xtal ball just your thoughts!)

Is it really 6 months.. or could there be another few months while .. the paperwork.. to return monies is done.....

(important as this could shift proceeds into 2024 tax year which will complicate the div capital return with hmrc even more
