Page- the sacking of Obee is my opinion only and I have kept it since he has gone. Why would he leave otherwise? Great salary, shares, options, pension etc but never got it over the line- he was fired.

Pretty obvious that if the bidder wants to buy, then they need to go via quote or the ask on the book. Nothing is being serviced right now, very very quiet (weirdly so).

Going to be interesting, surprised at the near zero volume especially when this tock is about to re rate massively int he coming months (or weeks)

18 out of 23 trades were on the book when they could have gone via quote for a better deal, so once again kind of looks like working the book on both sides by one entity to keep the price where it needs to be (to enable the larger pre arranged trades off book but within the margins). So the buyer is also the seller, intertrading within itself. Can only happen when volume is ultra low as it is now.

Not sure why the spread is so tight, there is zero activity. Can sell 250,000 at 2.43 and buy 250,000 at 2.45! Weird book today, maybe later will tell the true story.

That trade again off book, completed within boundaries- once this ongoing deal is concluded then we should be off again. Holdings RNS again anytime soon

Hi LTT. I think we will retain 40% with a carried 3 well appraisal and back costs to keep the lights on with possibly shareholder repayment through a special divi if BC are large enough ( which I doubt but you never know). Our share of Capex will be raised via a bond scheme to be announced at the end of the appraisal. The raise is entirely do able and the board raised almost as much before for the exploration of big D (different days granted and dilutive raise) but a bond scheme to pay for the cash machine that pays out more cash than you put in will be oversubscribed in my opinion. Like paying for the Hen that lays the golden egg.... no brainer. Exciting days ahead, the dopey market don't seem to risk things these days and only pile in once the T's are crossed and the I's are dotted, that's where us average Joes can win with bigger balls. Game on....

LTT, it's all in the presentation online with 3 drilling scenarios and a statement that a 3 well appraisal with free carry is industry standard at USD 2 BOE. Clearly this is what the board are expecting, interesting it did mention the possibility of alternative financing to a traditional farmout. For me it's got to be a free carry on the 3 wells and some sort of alternative bond financing on our share of the remaining capex (440 million usd and if our keep is 40% then 176 million usd-£140 million . Bonds are really really suitable to this type of project because of the speed of payback). To be honest I have absolutely NO idea why this is not in the bag already, beggars belief but I am 100% convinced it will be soon.
