RE: RE: What are BOR actually doing at the moment31 Aug 2024 12:19
The board and especially old Bruce are extremely competent on the geology , Darwin East is highly likely to flow at the higher range of their predictions of around 30,000 barrels a day produced from this initial micro development. Darwin West looks exactly the same as east but is still prospective (although with an extremely high chance of success), we then have Sullivan and Stewart to open up. The investment proposal is quite simple, the cheapest being to drill and well test Darwin East and then drill deeper to test Sullivan- Cost of only 175 million usd, success just on the Darwin East well test would cover one third of the drilling Capex already in the bag and all doors open for development finance. (various debt finance, bond schemes etc) Of course there are the other options, drilling Darwin West as well, plus more exploration. We could of course just farm out Darwin East and keep Darwin West for ourselves, plus Sullivan and Stewart- there are MANY options according to Harry Baker and he mentioned that we are extremely lucky to have a suite of high wealth investors on board (which may or may not come into play at some point ). For project financing, we will of course need to dilute our percentage of Darwin- by how much nobody knows but as HB said- " the stars are finally aligning for us" and that's good enough for me. In fact I have been increasing my holding here monthly and retail a very decent % of Bor, I am looking forward to seeing my return.
