Hi Into- errr absolutely no problem at all. Guest is non exec and not salaried but with options, has interest in both camps.

Guest hasn't joined BOR to get on the phone to people who have already talked to Obee for the past ten years and said no, Guest's people ARE the people to take this project forward. It's double bubble for Guest if he can manage it with cheap options and a massive market cap increase in his own company. Oh and I love the Calgary connection to Brimacombe who's connected to Dobson through his deceased Dad and what about Veleura's executive office being around the corner from Mason who recently joined the BOR party? I love that too, sometimes its as clear as mud here but not this........

LTT, interesting comment and I disagree. They have around £140 million cash sat in their bank and a market cap of around £300 million with ONLY 100 million shares in circulation. They have proved and probable reserves of around 10% of what we have yet they have a market cap of 17 x of us, I believe their current shareholders would welcome dilution for of a piece of our pie . A for the 10 year options, this was done to align with Baker- the guy is 62 and he won't be waiting till he is 72. The plan is happening now and all will be revealed within the next few months.

Valeura can easily sort out the appraisal and this is where the source finance will originate in my opinion. After the appraisal is done and it's a success ( highly likely due to its liquidity) then the other 2 wells are likely to be drilled to complete all wells ready for production. Once appraisal box is ticked, it unlocks all doors for final Capex requirements both sides of the pond. Personally I am more convinced than ever that finally after all these years, we are nearly there.

Veleura have an executive office based for their day to day operations in Singapore and where does our new super rich big new shareholder Hugh Mason live and work- Singapore........ the puzzle is coming together like a dot to dot game that's now nearly finished.

And where are Valeura based- CALGARY CANADA. A very very significant appointment and Valeura are a great company with a market cap of around £300 million, Valeura will almost certainly be our partner for Darwin.

Agree, it's all games. Just look at all the small A trades placed to make sure that bid got hit with the subsequent drop in price and later a late uncrossed trade. There's no volume to stop it and its getting a bit same shi* different day here, needs the patience of a saint and then some.

Yes stock transfer between 2 entities off book at an agreed price which is why the price has been sticking in this zone all week. If they were pressure sells on the book we would be sub 2p. Will be interesting to see the next holdings RNS which is kind of overdue I think! All good and let it continue.......

Yep RD is Damille, well part of it. No idea why he wants it under his own name but it does seem to be the theme these days with the big Calgary investment under his real name. Possibly clouding the real holder, but honestly no idea- it's a bit weird ( tax thing?)

Another decent trade of 2.3 million at a reasonable price of nearly 2.6p which shows strength and not forced weakness. On the up here..........

Interesting goodbye and thanks note for Obee in the RNS, I thought before and it was rubber stamped to me when I read it- He was sacked in the nicest possible way, almost like a shortened professional obituary- just a shame it wasn't done a few years earlier.

I think it's interesting that BOR are seriously looking at self financing in regard to appraisal, I wonder why..... The appraisal well is almost 100% certain and it's just a box ticker (our asset is very liquid), it will also be a development well. It's just a bit odd to me that we are paying for the appraisal via a bond route most probably, and as a result of this a big % of the CAPEX will also be covered. The bigger partner normally covers all as part of their investment and farming in, so I go back again to my previous comments that this could be a 100% BOR development with the farmer entering much later rather than the other way around ( a severely more expensive route but less risk). Interesting days, nothing is for sure and it's only my hunch but I am almost 100% something is bubbling with all the new big investors. Stupid, severe risk taking- they are not, follow the money.........

Quite clever mirroring of late also, bringing the ask down and then raising the bid up to the same price. 2.4p being the current favourite. It's designed to cover up the real direction of the trading (a bit of manipulation) which can easily be done when volume is reasonably low. Basically one entity running the book on both sides and doing a squeeze, hopefully we should ping on up next week...... let's see.

Tincan, I know one had to be abandoned due to high pressure. There are billions of barrels in our acreage I imagine but I am here for Darwin only cause its more than enough and then some for me, its a huge cash cow and we need to get it appraised asap which will also cover part of the Capex because the appraisal well will also be the development well.

Hi Anth, it's all about interpretation and we all knew funding would be required end of 2024 to keep the lights on and pay the wages. Yet this RNS was different in respect to the usual ones over the years, in particular " alternative" funding and "other" funding arrangement were used in the terminology which I haven't seen before. It's made clear that if a farm out and "other" funding arrangement does not materialise then " additional" funding will be required. "Additional" being the standard raise and dilution and subsequent extension of licence (kicking the can down the road again).

Add that to " the group are looking for alternative ways" to fund the appraisal program, I therefore go back to my original post RNS email that a bond scheme of sorts looks likely to be on the cards which will progress the appraisal and provide cash, preventing dilution. A successful appraisal unlocks a lot of doors for other finance and would probably cement a farm in.

Big pocketed investors are here already and increasing their stakes, if they aren't spooked then neither am i.

So all in all I am happy, not ecstatic- just content for now.

A bit vague I thought, but one thing did stand out to me and that was a separate financing of appraising Darwin which is different. I am prone to think therefore that the conventional farm in is " in the bag"once Darwin has been successfully appraised. The financing route has to be deferred bonds in my opinion and I think the carrot for investor financing will be that a partner is now found for post appraisal and production. It was also interesting that it was suggested repaying capital back to investors ( special divi route) which everyone will love and something I have mentioned before. My hunch therefore is- Type of bond offering (probably deferred) to pay for the appraisal and immediate expenses of the board up to production (no raise and dilution) and announcement of a partner for production. Could be a great Summer after all...........
