George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.

HSBC has just started covering VLX - 425p target. IMVHO they are usually "conservative" when initiating coverage. Not that I care too much as this is a core holding for me.

Confirmed on RCH website at https://www.reachplc.com/financial-reporting

Usual AIM sell on results. The numbers are good though and VLX ticks most of the boxes I use to judge a share that has a long way to run. As in:
Small enough to grow
Good cash flow
Good return Capital
Not Overvalued
Management has a Meaningful Stake
Long-term Plan and a Repeatable Strategy
Buffett style Moats
Makes its own Luck
Won’t Sell Cheap
Core holding for me.

As usual - a cherry picked post.
Shares on loan have increased as a percentage. (BTW the Bank of England reckons 2-3% is about right as some stock on loan is necessary to improve liquidity). As volumes have increased by nearly double over the same period I would have thought stt1's post actually reinforces the normality of what is happening. Good man, thank you.

@Monty - I may well be wrong, but I think the next update is likely to be in mid-June at the time of the full year results. When I last looked that was what VLX's site said.

I am no reader of charts, but the BB for Reach have narrowed to the point where it feels impossible for there not to be a large price movement. Whichever way it goes, and the trend line says up, I think it will happen very soon.

Just in case anyone has not seen it here is a link to a rather vague article on the legalisation of online sports wagering in New York.

Alliance News today has 13th April as the date for the results and update.
XLM's RNS of 18th March shows the expected date as 27th April.
Has anyone got any idea which is correct?
Thanks

RNS out - "Furthermore, the Open Offer closed for acceptances at 11.00 a.m. on 1 April 2021 with final valid applications from Qualifying Shareholders received in respect of 34,244,714 Open Offer Shares. Accordingly, the excess Open Offer applications have been scaled back to the allocation of 7,503,200 Open Offer Shares."
So if you applied for extra shares (above your entitlement) it looks like you will get around 20% (maybe a bit more) of the extras you tried to buy. Nice business at the sp today...

@Lasvelas - have a look at https://www.scsw.co.uk/page-50.html
@JP - not sure your immediate release of SCSW newsletters is supportive of a source you probably value as a subscriber. Headlines are probably OK(ish), but saying any more at this stage would be a breach of copyright I suspect.
GS
@jp - best guess is mid-April (. I have not seen any info better than that. Finals are due out on 14th June but you knew that.

I'm no expert, and although I have it I don't use L2 often, but several times today it looked as there was fairly rapid, auto selling of blocks of shares in tiny, random quantities, which pushed the sp down. When that happened there would then be 1, 2 or 3 larger purchases at a lower price than before the burts of selling and for more shares than had been sold. That is a classic operation by someone building a stake (not likely here) or by a short trying to close.
GS
Shorts down again by -0.08% to 1.58%. Blackrock reducing again.

@bucket - Well, so far so good. And my target was by cob on Friday. As for anything else, it is all opinion and we differ.

GS
I doubt you will get many shares over your 1:26 entitlement.
GS
I agree, but if you have put in for some extra shares and get ANY then there are still such people around. I think you will find there are. Also, a lot of people will have this in an ISA or SIPP and already be fully invested this year. So to take the offer up, they will need to sell something. And they just may not want to do that - I struggled as I like everything I have at present.
We shall see.

Not sure 700p is an issue. the sp rose 15% today and there is a limit to how much any share will jump in a day.
I am not really a chart person, but this one has been interesting. So much so I was buying on Friday. RSI trend reversal. A few days of almost no price movement combined with low volumes. Those are the early warnings, and then today gapping up this morning and closing at a high (700p).
Laugh at me if I am wrong, but given the above, I'm betting it will be a good bit higher by Friday than it is today, which means 700p will be in the rearview mirror.
