@ Verulamium - I guess I misunderstood the RNS - "Please be reminded that you have the right to subscribe for Ordinary Shares in the Company in cash on the basis of one new Ordinary Share for every five existing Ordinary Shares held on 10 November 2025, exercisable on 1 December 2025.."

This is my only holding which operates such a scheme. My logic was if I bought them on the 10th, I held them on the tenth..

@the_shareminator - Further to your 17:12, I did of course speak to Interactive Investor. After putting me on hold for a considerable length of time, the very apologetic agent informed me that because I had topped-up by 20% on the 10th, being the final day for eligibility, my purchase wasn't actually recorded until the 12th, which invalidated that purchase for inclusion. I articulated my dissatisfaction and await the outcome of my formal complaint...

@BuggerTheBanks - Somewhere in the very confusing and muddled messages from Interactive Investor, you should have a form in which to state the number of subs you wish to take-up. The fact that you have that entry showing 0 indicates to me that they are still awaiting your instruction. My suggestion is that you call them and clarify, rather than fall foul of their persistent poor customer communications.

I'm gradually moving holding in my trading account to another provider. I had hoped that Interactive Investor would have by this stage gained a similar level of customer service and satisfaction that we enjoyed at The Share Centre, but alas, it hasn't happened...

Both the Typhoon itself and the role it's supposed to play in warfare are increasingly looking somewhat redundant. Cheap swarming weapons in the air and DEW weapons on ships and on land is the future. I think we're quite well placed to prosper in this sector.

Zelenskyy cannot be seen to obstruct 'all the hard work' that the U.S. have done do stop the bloodshed. IMHO, this is a clever tactic. Russia will either refuse to agree reasonable terms, or accept and then break the conditions, revealing their true intentions. Even if the latter doesn't happen quickly, Europe would be extremely foolish to backtrack on rebuilding defences. This, and our existing forward order book, still make BAE an attractive investment.

@the_shareminator - When II officially notified me of the subscription offer, they kindly did the maths and put in a box the number of shares I was entitled to take-up. Naturally I opted for the full 1/5 allocation. A couple of days later I went back to check payment dates etc., and noticed they'd scaled back my maximum allocation by 20%, and added a note advising me that the number I'd originally opted for was above the allocation allowed and advised me to amend my request down to the new number So as it stands, I'm assuming everyone is now having their original allocation scaled-back by 20% ?
