Viable product? That's open to question. There has been no evidence of the sale of a single product, or even confirmation that the thing is COMMERCIALLY viable; it may work as a testbed, but the true acid test of viability will be when someone actually places an order for a unit which isn't dependent on the vendor company for feedstock and technical support on non commercial terms.

Never thought I'd agree with you, but the constant shouting at the wall is becoming tiresome, it really is creating a polarisation of the board which is at odds with what it is meant to be can we not just regard the uber negative and uber positive rantings as just white noise, and get on with healthy debate WHERE BOTH SIDES OF THE ARGUMENT CAN BE PUT FORWARD WITHOUT FEAR OF PILLORY

Jonny boy, you stay long and strong and all that as much as you want, but don’t you just wonder why the sales department don’t follow up leads if they have the product that’s actually market ready?

It’s like a kind of. Tourette’s with you jonnyboy…..all unsubstantiated rant and drivel…..you just carry on being long and strong, in the meantime, perhaps you can explain why the sales team doesn’t respond to enquiries….maybe they are busy following up the 50 or so qualified enquiries which must surely be growing beards by now….

There's nothing wrong with a multi pronged approach to product placement, but so far, the company has yet so spear a single pea on its fork..
Would just like to see something that actually says "We have a product, it's actually working, and its ready for punters to buy" To date, there has been no such announcement, only trials, trials, field trials, tweaks, and that's about it....The fact that the sales department simply doesn't answer valid enquiries is more than a little worrying....

Here's one to ponder........If the future if fuel cells (I'm talking BIG fuel cells here, for the avoidance of doubt, pedants), and they are going to be used to generate the electricity we all need, then we are going to need a shedload of hydrogen to turn into heat, water and electricity. Here's a thought, if we can generate that much hydrogen, then why not just burn it and use the heat to produce good old fashioned steam that can then be put through a turbine, and hey presto....zero emissions electricity without the need for development of all sorts of theoretical alchemy (Alkamem springs to mind)....or am I missing something?
Bear in mind JCB investigated fuel cell technology for their heavy plant, and have gone down the hydrogen internal combustion route....same fundamental principle, only difference is the explosive nature of the combustion in an IC engine.......

I thought that this was going top be the start of a peaceful new year, but obviously not. As you are well aware my primary issue isn't with the performance of the company we are invested in, but more the disingenuous baseless half truths peddled be certain posters, and the bullying tactics employed by others.
Funny how a call for peace was immediately responded to be you in your usual combative and bullying way....looks like its business as usual then.....
Interestingly, I had a minion have a look at your posting history (over 300 posts of bile....god, you're one angry so and so!) and guess what, no sign of any post of yours calling for any kind of armistice...At least have the decency to tell the truth, or get a better memory....

A plea for harmony, and straight away you play into the hands of the nastier element of the optimist gang, giving them the generally undeserved moral high ground…..might as well accept that you are going to carry on shouting at the wall, which really doesn’t do anything to aid a return to balanced debate…

Here’s a wizard idea! We all have hopes and expectations for this share, otherwise we would be blooming here. The simple fact is that we are really all on the same team, it’s just that some are pessimistic about the ability to deliver commercially, and some optimistic.
Why don’t we all have a self imposed moratorium on posting anything whatsoever until there is actually real news of real developments, be they good, bad, or indifferent, and then simply comment on those developments. We can then leave all of the AB hasn’t done this, AB hasn’t done that, AB’s paid this, AB’s paid that, stuff behind us (Garonne and DW, haven’t you heard the maxim “repetition doesn’t enforce an argument”) and conversely stop posting overly optimistic stuff with only the slightest relevance to AFC, spinning up the positive side.
If we do this, and all accept that there are different views, and both sides of the argument are equally valid, then harmony may prevail in 2023……

Says a great deal about the guys credibility that he seem proud to be doing this….says more about his state of mind that he posted the notice of impending new handle at gone 12.00 on New Year’s Day….

Gave up EXPECTNG anything a long time ago. Haven’t given up HOPE though, maybe there will be an ABB tie up, maybe there will be sales of power towers but we can only HOPE that something meaningful is delivered.

Unbelievable……so the power tower isn’t a commercially viable product in its own right, but simply a proof of concept, but that’s all right, these things happen…..what, in your opinion, would the 50 qualified enquiries have been for, if the L series has been found wanting, and the power tower is a beta test unit, and the car charger thing seems to have died a death (I’m not talking ABB as there’s still plenty of time for that to go south)?

No hard points then…….plenty of scope for drift without criticism then?

This is not an attempt to rattle your cage, but a serious question. Would you be prepared to set down some timeline targets for the various things that are presently in a state of flux, in particular the deliver of the 100kw system, the issue of calibrated and verified performance metrics for the power tower, and most importantly the first commercial sale of a power tower. You must have some timeframes in mind after which point you may feel disappointed, and I would be interested to hear what they are
