Where's the substance10 Mar 2023 12:44
I would like to know when we are actually going to get some reliable performance metrics out of the company. Its all well and good waffling on about deployments of units, extending lease contracts, 8,000 hours and all that, but as at this particular point in time, there has been no release of any information whatsoever to support the argument that the company has a commercially viable product.
The sad fact is that an RNS can be written in such a way as to be open to interpretation, be that erring on the optimistic, or the pessimistic, and as such, is generally pretty useless if viewed in isolation.
Can we please see something from the company that states that "We have a product that we have developed, and it is capable of providing a mean charge of X for Y hours a day, and will use Z cubic metres of H2 in order to produce said charge. The consumables cost of running the unit over a period of A days is B pounds, and the capital cost of the unit itself is C thousand pounds"
If you look at the company website, there is no such hard data, and in the absence of this, I believe that there is still significant doubt about whether the thing is actually viable.
You can spout all you want about the deployments that have taken place, but we don't know on what terms, or whether these particular deployments will actually lead to sales and it could be argued that they could in fact have been places there as a part of a symbiotic sham where AFC is seen to be progressing (albeit at a glacial pace) and the so called customers are being fed a pot of very cheap greenwash.
Basically, I just get the feeling that we are all little mushrooms......
